      Long stable lucids without aids?

Hey guys, just curious to know if it is common among lucid dreamers to be able to consistently have long, stable lucid dreams without any lucid aids?

Most lucid dreamers don't use any lucid aids, maybe only water for more natural awakenings during the night. It's completely possible to have long and vivid lucid dreams without any supplemets. Practice grounding yourself into the dream, stabilize and reaffirm yourself multiple times that you're dreaming, and you should be able to stay lucid through the whole REM-cycle if devote yourself into it

Iv heard lots of good things about galantamine though, but I don't have much knowledge about it. B6 gave me very vivid and intense dreams when I tried it myself.

If things go really well a lucid dream can last for 20, I have even heard of 30 minutes at a time. I have had dreams that seemed to last for around 30 minutes, but I have no way to be sure how accurate my sense of time was. During those times I had not taken any kind of supplement or herb.

I think the more lucid dreams a person has the more stable they become, for whatever reason.

Lol, galantamine can provide 90 minute to 2 hours dreams. But that is with Galantamine. Naturally, most of my LDs are short. Every so often I will have a "really good one" that lasts between 20 and 45 minutes. The most stable, vivid, realistic, clear LD I ever had was a DEILD without aids. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the replies guys! That's pretty much what I was hoping to hear. I've had somewhere around 50-75 lucid dreams now and they are starting to come more frequently I just have been having trouble making them last for more than just a couple of minutes. Just wanted to know that I could potentially do it on my own before switching to lucid aids such as galantamine this early in my lucid life. Although, I'm not sure that it would hurt. Anyway, great to hear that it's possible. Thanks!

My advice is to get good at reintering the dream when you do wake up. You can feel when you are waking up prematurly and keep DEILDing until you feel the REM period actually end. Most of my lucids would be short if I couldn't do that but now they can be over half an hour all together. Of course, sometines you can't help it and the DEILD fails but short lucids are fun too.

Yeah I definitely agree, short lucids are fun too. Every time I have a lucid I get more and more hooked lol and thanks for the advice MadMonkey I will start practicing deild for sure. I've been thinking about it for a while now just haven't gotten to it. I'll try it tonight whether I'm coming out of a lucid or nld.
