      Smile Finally!

      Tried Calea Z two nights ago and had an amazing NLD about lucid dreaming. The next night, could not remember a single dream and became a little discouraged. Woke up at 4:45 this morning and was again very discouraged that I couldn't remember any dreams. I thought that maybe all the effort I have put into having an LD just wasn't worth it. I drifted off back to sleep and BAM!, I had a very vivid lucid dream(DILD). First one in about 15 years. When I realized that I was lucid, I did the thumb through palm RC to verify it and it worked! The LD only lasted a few wonderful minutes, but during it I did a bunch of exciting things and was able to stablize the dream as it was fading by rubbing my dream hands together and also managed to purpously change the scene. Loved it! I am in hopes that the LD's come more often and more easily

      This LD occured about 3 weeks into my starting to work on having an LD. This morning, besides basking in the good feelings of having an LD, I've been thinking about and writing down all the circumstances which may have contributed to having this LD (time to bed, time of LD, Daylight Saving Time as a factor, etc.) Hopefully this examination will help with having future LD's.

      Could this still be as a direct result of the Calea Z perhaps?

      The Calea Z being a factor was one of a number of possible factors I jotted down when I analyzed how I became lucid. I think the biggest factor though was my daily work on memory and especially awareness. I have a couple more caps of Calea Z that I will be experimenting with, possibly this coming weekend.
