Questions:
can we force REM atonia?
people often stabilize by movement or dream control when they feel the dream slipping, and also DEILD back when they wake up from a lucid dream, does this mean that REM atonia can be pushed on by our will? or by stimulating senses in yout imagination? i know that people do this often, i just kind of want to know what it looks like from a physical standpoint, jumping in and out of REM atonia like that seems like we can actually start REM atonia without waiting, as well as prolonging it.
When does a dream, or sleep start?
When i am in a lucid dream, i can often hear outside noised, audiobooks or songs as well, when i am obviously in a dream in the middle of the night. so at that point I am obviously in a dream, but only 4 of 5 senses. When visualizing through the day there is often a "tipping point" where i can no longer feel or move my waking body. usually i will have 3, 4, or 5 senses in those dreams. in the past it was when something came up that i didnt visualize, but now i can create those instantly by visualizing my phone and skipping through messages that are whole conversations that dont exist and pics that dont exist. lol. might be a little long explanation of the question, but i have basically come to my own conclusions that waking and sleeping arent really that much different when you can visualize so well, the line is very blurred. So I dont really count lucid dreams much anymore since i dont know when to call it? just when all my tactile sensations are there and rem atonia starts? or when more dream senses exist than waking? or does it have to be all the senses?
also, since there are so many "experts" on lucid dreaming, can i ask
each of your thoughts on time dilation? non scientifically, just what you believe.
also, i hope you guys post the video after the stream. that time doesn't work for me at all.
