Hey everybody, I was wondering what you would all do in your first purposeful lucid dream. Like is there anything specific to watch out for? Because I've read more than once that it's really to accidentally wake up when you're a beginner.

Hey everybody, I was wondering what you would all do in your first purposeful lucid dream. Like is there anything specific to watch out for? Because I've read more than once that it's really to accidentally wake up when you're a beginner.
I would advice beginners who have their first "purposeful" lucid dream to stay calm and take in the world around them. Engage the senses and be part of the experience. There is nothing you "must" do. Just explore and enjoy your awareness within the dream. Practice stabilization and observe the dynamic nature of the dream. It's probably the first LD where you didn't immediately wake up so it will be tempting to go crazy and try to do all sort of things, but I would advice against that. Instead try to expand your lucidity. Treat it as a meditative process. It will help you in future the more "used to" you become of this state. ^^
I'd basically suggest the same. Work on stabilizing your dream, and keeping calm. Not sure how it is for most, but my first few lucid dreams,my mind was racing and felt like I was functioning off of adrenaline. Thus I never slow downed to do the things I really wanted to do,and only did the expected things. Flying, fighting, etc.(which is fun lol) the biggest tip I would suggest, which is actually hard to do in the moment,is to always keep in mind that, what you expect to happen, will happen. This goes both ways. If you fear something bad will happen,it probably will. If you're hoping something good will happen,it probably will.
I know it might be hard to do, but in order to really enjoy your first lucid dream, you must act like you aren't surprised of being in a lucid dream. Take it lightly, then simply move on to try something interesting. I would not advice flying just yet but maybe try to levitate, it will still be very exciting being your first time, then focus on your environment and try to really feel the lucidity level you are in. Most important is feel very confident in everything you try to do.
I say don't think this is your last lucid dream know that it will happen whenever u want if u try. I made this mistake and wasted my first ld. I was in a hurry to do all reality checks to see them for myself and that's how I was excited. And how the dream faded
Stay calm and engage your senses, sing and shout, feel the wind in your hair, the dew on your skin, fly like a rocket....
Oh.... that's probably not calming!
You'll maybe wake yourself...
BUT WHO CARES?
One lucid dream means there will be more :D
Lol that was great . :D
