Poor Dream Recall, but Great LD's?

Last night I had the longest, best LD I've ever had. This was the forth successful one out of my last five WILD attempts with using suppliments. Also had my first false awakening which unfortunately I failed to take advantage of. But over the last 4 weeks of having LD's, I have been having very poor NLD recall. Has anyone else experienced this and any idea why this would be happening? I kind of miss remembering my very interesting NLD's, although it was beginning to be quite a chore logging them.

Dream recall fluctuates. Sometimes we seemingly do everything the same way, such as we post in dream journal, go to bed and wake up at consistent times, have same diet, same level of stress... But we still don't get the same level of recall. It's normal though. Plus, sometimes we may wake up at wrong times in the sleep cycle. Some times it's easier to remember a dream we just had than other times.

Lucid dreams are stored in different part of the memory than non-lucids. That's why they are easier to remember. Plus, we most likely wake up after a lucid, just because it was so awesome and we are excited about it. When you wake up from a dream, it's easier to remember.

Congrats on the lucids. Just keep posting them and any other dreams in your dream journal, and recall should be coming back.
