Thread: Analyze My Nightmares....

So many of you in describing your nightmares say that something greater than you chases you or kills you ect...something you dont have the capacity to defend yourself against. Well for me its completely different. Most of my nightmares consists of struggles and battles where I face off against some sort of beast or person. The strange thing is though that the monster is not stronger than myself infact its usualy equal to or weaker than myslef. The battle might be epic where both of us exauhst ourselves and with my last ounce of strenth i overcome my enemy BUT moments after ...the creature might be ressurected more powerful than before. Once again I will defeat it and once again it will be reborn. Eventualy i will either lose or have to escape.

Another type is where my weapon or whatever tool I need to use to defeat my enemy is faulty. For expample a gun that refuses to fire or the bullet just rolls out of the barrel. Some dreams are situations like where i am is overrun by monsters of some kind people are being killed all over the place but I am perfectly able to survive myself however my family wont listen to me and end up getting themselves killed because they ignored my warnings. One more prominent type of struggle is where something protects my enemy like whenever i try to attack him just before i land a winning blow suddenly im set into slow motion or something like and invisible wall of force cushions my blow before it gets to him. Typically my nightmares have to do with frustration and not fear. Its not that they are stronger than me its that something fails me or i am unable actualy get to the antangonist. Often my dreams are a similar situation to the fight in gladiator where maximus is poisoned and is unable to use his abilities where comodus is unburdened. The kind That bothers me the most is a situation where things are out of my hands like a massive tornado touches down a few miles from where we are and starts heading straight towards us. There is no escape. All I can do is watch and wait untill i am destroyed. Anybody know what the deal is?
