That's a very interesting concept. I wonder if she experienced an extremely vivid lucid dream or a glimpse into a past life (or future life! - if that's possible). |

A friend of mine had a dream where they explored an alternate reality. In real life they had a child at 16 but in the dream they married in the early twenties and had a couple of kids. They remember the dream being really detailed just like real life and seeming to go on for years. On the day that her first child went to school for the first time she was so upset that she woke up. When she woke up she still felt like she was in that alternate life...but she soon realised that she wasn't. She says it was the most incredible dream because it explored what would have happened if she never had a child at 16 and instead married and had kids when she was older. She said it was much better than her current life. |

I doubt it was a Lucid Dream as she wasn't aware that she was dreaming. I thought that it could have been a kind of 'alternate' life. I believe everyone makes their own destiny in the choices that they make and she maybe slipped into one of these alternate realities (or dimensions, if your into science fiction). I have heard of a kind of NDE (Near Death Experience) where someone that you have cared about, that has passed away, shows you what your life could be like if you take the good path or bad path (or other such decisions). Maybe this could be related to that? Or it could be a very vivid dream which could inspire a person to change the direction in which they are taking their life. |

Sounds like it's going to make her resent her kid(s). |
