Where do we see the dreams?

How exactly can you see such vivid details in LDing? Where exactly do the images form? Anything to do with your eyes? There's no physical manifestation of the LD, so ... wtf?

Well I mean sight is just your brain interpreting electrical signals from your eyes. So it's very possible that it's basically getting the same electrical signals creating an image, except it's a dream and not reality.

But I'm no expert, just tossing a guess out there.

It's strongly based around memory, but since there's no set definition on memory, only theories, theres no actual explanation!

Although we receive input from our senses it is our minds that create a conception of what we are sensing.

In a dream most sensory input is cut off, while the mind generates a world of perception.

People who have lost their eyes (e.g. due to cancer) can still see in a dream.

Understanding that our mind is creating the dream world allows us to take control of the dream world.

The vividness and 'realness' of the experience confuse most of us initially in the dream state into believing we are not dreaming, or that this is an actual place.

It is an amazing experience to be walking around in a dream city with cars and people and realize that the mind is creating all of this.

How the mind does this is not known. The degree to which you can take control varies, possibly by the amount of belief.

I beleive it to be the third eye
      or ajna chakra,
the space between and above your brows
it's organ is the pineale gland
      it's colour is indigo

but we can only really speculate
