nope can't say I have.

All the time. But I practically grew up on the beach.

this is weird, i was actually on a beach in a dream last night for the first time. i wasn't lucid though

I bet you wish you were though.

One of my very first lucids was on a beach. I wanted to go swimming, but I didn't have a suit, so I tried to take one off of a DC, who resisted, much to my surprise.

Now I know that the DC's have a mind of their own and I am not surprised by things like that.

Yes, beaches are my one of my favorite places in lucid dreams.

Build sand castles, sunbathe, play beach volleyball, swim in the sea?

It depends, sometimes I'll swim, or just walk along the edge of the water and let the waves wash my feet, or just sit there or walk around. I'm sometimes with other DC, too.

I remember one in particular where I was practicing martial arts (forms) in the grass by the sand. It was a great lucid dream.

yeah quite alot but they tend to be pebble beaches or rocky, or if on the rare occasion its sand its usually at a very very steep slope
And its rarely sunny :/
but i have had one or two desert island dreams... i guess that counts as a beach.

Well i can safely say i didn't see martial arts coming. I would like to play beach volleyball and football, build a sandcastle, and just chill out.

I would also make sure there were plenty of dream characters around. i don't think i would swim in the sea because i would probably get eaten by a shark.

They don't sound like very good beaches, when i go to the beach it will have to be a beautiful sandy beach on a hot summers day.

I live on the seafront, so quite a lot of my dreams are on the beach. One of my lucids was on a sandy beach, but we were at war lol - that was fun!

Considering I've been at the beach for almost a week now, you'd think I would have remembered having a beach dream in the last few nights. Nothing of the sort, though. Everything has been taking place at school, church, camp . . . You think that when you take a vacation, you escape from school. Not so.

I'll dream of the beach when I get back to school, most likely.

Yeh dreams are crazy like that. I bet you will dream of the beach when you get back to school.

I love the beach so much IRL that I go to the beach purposely almost every LD.

I swam with dolphins, went for a ride on a whale, swim underwater and even met some mermaids once

And of course, sex on the beach!

Also I think the beach is a terrific place to increase vividness and dream control. Most of the methods I've read about say to examine your environment, stimulate all senses etc.

Touch: wind, water, feel of sand between your toes etc
Sight: obvious - and dependant on dreamer
Sound: waves crashing, sea birds - maybe other animals, children playing, etc
Taste: salt in the air
Smell: Ocean water, maybe smell of fish/algae, if at a city beach - food from the boardwalk.

The only LD in which i had sex (near a year ago) was in a beach.

What i did was surveying the hottest chicks on the beach. I saw a hot young blonde who was catching tan, i had sex with her, and i called a hot older brunette who was nearby to join us. It was cool.

I didn't care much about the sun, or the sand, or the water or the people. =P

Anyway, they didn't feel like having a second round.

I remember i've had lucid dreams under water (i was breathing under water), but i don't remember if it was sea or river.
