      levels of lucidity

i hear that the highest level of lucidity is when even your dream characters are lucid. why is this? does it have an effect on your dream, of increase your own lucidity, or just means that even your subconcious knows your dreaming? can someone explain?

Well, DCs may act as if they know the scenario is a dream, but I don't think that would make them lucid per se, because they're not sentient. Being more or less clear-headed ight be considered more or less lucid, but "levels of lucidity" isn't something I would go by. It can be something that is to a certain degree, but if you start trying to pull in some kind of complex multi-tiered Nicholas Newport rating system I'll have to freak out

I would really like to know where you hear this as well.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

hmm i thought it was somewhere on the forum, if i cant find it then never mind. i was asking because it didnt quite make sense to me, and if it was from the guy on youtube that explains it i guess.

i remember hearing it 2ce, but i cant find it after 5 minutes on google, but i find another deffinition quite frequently. so im guessing that isnt really the highest level of lucidity, maybe i hear wrong or something. oh well thanks guys.

I would think the highest form of lucidity is when you are fully aware as if awake, within the dream.
No so sure that the lucidity of the dream characters is as important.
      It's all in your head.

DCs can't be lucid they're in your imagination, but they could agree with you that youre dreaming if thats what you mean by lucid.
