      (SAD) or seasonal effective disoerder can play a role in your health, well being & sleep disorders!
      In short it is your bodies reaction associated with the lack of sunlight.

      They have lamps you can buy to help aid in this problem.

      Another area where bright light therapy has proven itself beneficial is in the area of sleep disorders. Advanced sleep phase syndrome (ASPS) is characterized by premature sleep onset and early morning awakening. Conversely, delayed sleep phase syndrome (DSPS) is characterized by difficulty in initiating sleep before 1 a.m., sometimes later. The insomnia noted in sleep phase disorders often is associated with altered circadian timing of body temperature or melatonin secretion. Selective application of bright light therapy in the morning (to correct phase delayed patients) or in the evening (to cause a circadian phase advance) has been very effective in "re-setting" patients' internal clock to coincide with normal living schedules1.

      Future applications of bright light therapy may well include any area where a disease or syndrome recurs seasonally, shows winter exacerbation, or plausibly is related to insufficient or ill-timed outdoor light exposure regardless of the season. Examples of active research include light treatment for bulimia nervosa, premenstrual syndrome, behavioral disruptions of Alzheimer's disease including sleep and daytime agitation, correction of discomfort related to shift work and jet lag.

      I was told it was a combination between lack of light and lack of exercise during the winter months.
      An idea is something you haven't fully considered.
      A belief is merely a repetitive thought.
      A conclusion is simply where you stopped thinking.
