Hi Nasson, I haven't had a lucid dream yet, but recently I have been trying FILD.
I say go with your first option. Keep both fingers touching the bed, but just alternate applying pressure. I find that if you lift your fingers off of the bed, the effort needed to do that keeps you too awake to fall asleep quickly.
