Hey Smurfman, welcome to the class. I take it you know about stabilization. You've been part of DV for two years, so what's your experience with LDs like? How often do you have them? Which induction techniques are you using?

Did you see the TOTM for July? The advanced task looks really fun, though difficult. You think you'll give TOTM for this month a go?

I have actually read most of the articles on DV. i know a lot of the terminology and most of the theory. what happens is i join the community again and start posting and recording my dreams. Then after i finally have a lucid it lasts 10 seconds and i lose motivation and quit. It says 2 years but id bet ive only been on dv for a year total. I tend to lose motivation in things and slack off. My reasoning is that if i have people like you and Ophelia checking up on me i might be able to get somewhere.

I know about stabilizing now and thats what i plan to do next. Ive had about 5 LDs since joining DV and 1 since i came back to the site a little bit ago. I Kinda failed at wilding and fell back asleep but i got a dild so i cant complain. Ive been trying to Wild for a while but i get too excited once i feel SP kick in and i goes away quickly. I Think my best bet is to do some WBTB Dilds. though i am interested in MILD since Dave was talking about them in class today.

I just saw the TotM for july and suddenly a bunch of references in class make sense now. RIght now im trying to get some length in my lucids but once that happens ill give it a try. Thanks for Checking up on me Ill be sure to post here if i make any progress.

(p.s. Congrats on your apprenticeship. Eventually you might get to be a dream Guide!)
I'd rather not have a signature, thanks.

Hello again smurfman, how have your dreams been? Anything interesting lately? Have you tried any of the techniques you mentioned in your last post?
