I don't have LDs every night like you do, but I will often become lucid without putting effort into it. Whenever I left this site, I completely stopped practicing LDs, didn't keep a journal, didn't RC, or even try to LD and I still would have anywhere from about 6-12 LDs a month. Which isn't as much as you, of course, but it many people become lucid for no reason. I also used to have LDs as a child...before I even knew what they were. I would just randomly know I was dreaming and would go around trying to tell other people that we were. I didn't understand what all I could do then, but I knew I was dreaming. I practice and train for LDs mainly to try and increase the frequency of them, as well as the length. I have never experienced headaches from the dreams, but I have felt tired before. Like Walms stated, I was messing around with time and I think that is what caused it. |
