      Lightbulb Highly confused!!!

Whenever I read someones post they say how they've laid really still and or did a load of extra stuff in order to have a lucid dream.
I've always thought that Lucid Dreaming Was Being Aware That Im dreaming.
Usually I'm always aware that I'm Dreaming But I Only Figure This Out When I See something unusual like my dog flying with me or something.

So My Question Is Would It Possible To Enter A Lucid Dream While Already having a normal dream? And if so, then is this the correct way to enter a lucid dream?

      Thanks For your Time.

If you have had 24 already you should already know. Ways you can enter a lucid dream are:

Entering one directly from falling asleep while staying conscious
Turning a dream into a lucid by means of Awareness or random reality check
Doing a DEILD, which is basically the first one but slightly different
      Autosuggestion and hypnotism.
Also Astral projection but that again is loosely based off of the first one.

There may be others, I don't know.

Well more than likely you know what a dream feels like. If you felt those 24 were different enough to be lucid, then they probably were, even if only on a low level.

They Usualy start as a normal dream but like i said i see or hear something that isnt suppose to be there and boom i know im dreaming then I usualy take sometime to fool around Dream flying being my means of transportation.Another problem i s i still sometimes get afraid even when i know im dreaming I ike to try and face the fears mostly i win But sometimes The Fear (in any form) beats me even when i can swallow my fear and face lets say the monster or the ghost.

That is lucid. What did you think a proper lucid was if you weren't sure of your own? Being able to make choices, evaluate situations, do things you want, have heightened awareness and attention as well greater dream structure and stability are all factors of a lucid.

Haven't even had a lucid yet. And I'm tired of saying "but I will soon" because I was saying that months ago and I'm still waiting. I dunno. You're doing well, I'm certain what you have had were lucids, just keep it up, and try not to deviate from what you are doing now- it's a winner for you.

      Thanks Thats Good To Know!!

I Don't Know what to say about your situation because it has happened to me. I'm really into bleach ( kinda into naruto) I got into a sword battle with this guy but i started to fade from the dream world ( waking) he was hurt but i never got the chance to finish him. The point is I could never dream about him again. I still try to this day. But nothing this dream happened months ago.

Bleach, I have to see at some point. Naruto... wat. Really. Blonde haired orange wearing cat boy is a ninja? WAT

I find that if you watch or play something a lot you dream about it. I was playing Vanquish (from the link) a while ago, had a few dreams about it those nights. If you really want to tailor your dreams, then I suggest doing something you want to dream about, all day, and really think about it often. Like reality checks, all day, often and deeply. Then they carry over.

Basically, ponder on the anime a lot and it should carry over.

Its Funny I always noticed that if I thought about something often i usualy dream about it.
My friend is really into supernatural things like werewolves and dare i say it vampires.he sayas he has alot of werewolf dreams.I think its because he thinks about it so much.

Also: I've seen Vanquish the game before on G4 maybe thats why it sounded so familiar. But if you want a another good game i suggest Mortal Kombat ( or Gears Of War 3 coming soon)

I only have a ps3, and I tried Mortal Kombat, but since I don't have a second controller or decent online access it would get boring fast for me.

You should pick up Vanquish. It's short and has no online, but it is a blast all the way through, super fun stuff.

Ya It looked really fun The slide Looked really cool. Ill Have to pick it up sometime today.

Ok this is really important have you ever experienced what is called an OBE? Out Of Body Experience
I didnt really believe in it at the time but when i was driving with my brother and my dad I fell asleep sorta. The reason I say this is because after a fell asleep I could still see my brother and dad having a conversation in the front seats. I wasnt dreaming I'm sure about this. I was paralyzed and evrytime i tried to speak it sounded really far away. Upon waking my borther and dad were still talking and i asked them if they had heard me call their names. Of course they said no but it was really weird.

Here's a list of induction techniques. You are describing DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dream). A DILD is recognizing some clue within the dream, that the dreamer is asleep. Hope it helps

Sorry, I had to go drive somewhere suddenly. I'm not too familiar with OBE's as I don't really recognize them as being as legit as Lucid dreams. That's just me though.

This is a WILD, a wake induced lucid dream. This occurs when a person passes from the waking state to the dream state without fully losing awareness, essentially to pass directly into a lucid dream.

What you're describing having experienced is called a DILD, a dream induced lucid dream. This occurs when you fall asleep and enter a dream normally, and then during the dream become aware that you're dreaming.

Everything on here is real. It's either as real as stones and air, or as real as it would be in your head.

Personally, everything on here is legit, except for Dream sharing, however people are turning up with stories of it with two person account of the incident, and I have no reason to doubt their authenticity.

And Yet for some reason I get the feeling You as a person doubt the experience's -squints-
But thats fine and now another unrelated question.

What do most of your nightmares consist of?

It is still implausible that it can happen. Yet if some people who have little reason to lie state they did it, then there isn't much reason for it not to be true.

I don't have nightmares. The only ones I ever had and can remember were a few locked in dark houses with something, and a few giant spiders and people being brutally killed by tentacles.

I think thats the problem with the entire world our knowledge has made us blind. We feel like if we can't explain something scientificaly then it doesnt exist our it can't be done. Our ancestors learned alot from trees and other animals they were deeply and spiritualy connected to the world. Mark my words that will be humanitys downfall.

Wow you are a very original human being.Mine usuallys consists of a killer and me getting killed.

I think that once we stop investigating things and developing, we will stop. We should just settle or adapt. We need to keep going as humans.

But this is unrelated. I'm not saying it's impossible, as it has been proven so far to be true to some people. I think it's just a case of having to try it yourself, too weird to believe.

Its like i said dude you gotta learn to open your mind, some things really are far fetched like quantum jumping theres no way in hell you could jump to a different world. Its just something someone made up and just put a fancy word in front to make it sound like something cool and or believabl.
