      Greetings! new here

      Hi all,

I got interested in lucid dreaming about a year ago when I had a few lucid dreams naturally and started researching them.

My mother and brother also have lucid dreams, and haven't studied them either.

I haven't spent much time since then really developing my skills and attempting to lucidly dream. So I'm going to start being active here to help with that.

I've also been reading Waggoner's book on Lucid Dreaming, it is very inspirational to get better at this fun skill!

      Hi, to Dreamviews!

No one else in my family has lucid dreams, and they think I'm slightly weird for doing it... But I love doing it, so I don't mind what they think or say. It's awesome how you know people that you can talk about LDing with.

If you haven't yet read it, I've made a guide for people new to all the different lucid dream techniques, and other stuff; you can find it here. Also, the first thing you should do is start up a dream journal, if you haven't yet already. Unless you have naturally good recall, or the ability to remember your dreams every day. If you have poor recall, you can end up forgetting your lucid dreams (it's happened to me a few times now... not fun).

If you have any questions about the forum or LDing in general, feel free to ask!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Ah yea, I recently started keeping a notebook with my dreams in it.

I think I have pretty good recall already(3 remembered last night for example), but I think it would be a good idea to post them online as well.

      Welcome to Dreamviews

The only people i have told about my lucid dreaming is pretty much my mother, aunt and sister. They all do it to sometimes, I've sorta taught them stuff about it. It's really cool knowing at least 2 of your family members have lucid dreams too. That should be some motivation.

3 dreams a night is good keep up with the dream journal, reality checks, etc.
and also STAY MOTIVATED. That is a huge key ^_^

if you have any questions feel free to ask
