Thread: Hello, im new :)

Hello my name is fizzle and i learned about lucid dreaming one day ago.
A post on facebook from a friend got me thinking if this is at all possible, to be honest it sounded too good to be true.
So i went to bed last night and nothing interesting at all happend, i could not even recall my dream. i woke up at about 8am, i switched on my computer and i just decided to google lucid dreaming, i read that telling yourself that you are going to have a lucid dream can help you have a lucid dream. so thats exactly what i did, i got back into bed and kept telling myself over and over "You will be in control" Then i have a blurry line and this is what i remember from my dream; I was on youtube, i didnt switch the computer on, i was just on youtube, i remember seeing a video thumbnail with red and yellow flowers on it, now here is the weird part, I know that you have to show yourself that you are dreaming, so i minimised the web browser, and then opened it again, the flowers were still there. That was the whole dream, or atleast what i can remember of it. The thing i am unsure about is if i was in control or not, i dont remember perfect clarity either, my vision was so blurry it was like i was drunk. (i dont drink at all by the way) So was this my first lucid dream?
