You could try some relaxation techniques, and listen to relaxing music while being aware before bed. I mention different relaxation techniques and relaxing music in my WILD guide. Just scroll down to the "Waking Up" section. |

usually when I want to lucid dream(every night) I keep thinking about lucid dreaming, what I would do in a lucid and trying to stay aware as I fall asleep. But the problem is my body won't let me go to sleep if I'm aware. Is this something I'm just going to have to deal with or can I fix it? I also have trouble getting to sleep very often. Thanks |

just trying to bump this thread in case any of you guys are willing to give more hints. I'm only bumping this once. |

You could always just let your mind wander all the while counting your breaths - this way you slip into the dreams while maintaining awareness. |

Don't worry too much about falling asleep aware. Falling asleep aware is basically a WILD right? So if you are not doing a WILD then don't worry about it. And if you are trying to WILD then you should definitely do it during a WBTB. Because that's where your best results will be. |

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
