      Hey WhatsupDreamers, welcome to Dreamviews!

How long have you known about lucid dreaming? How is your recall?

Good luck with the CANWILD method!
My advice would to not stress about it so much, and just go with the flow. Don't be worried that it won't work, just know that it will. Stay positive and be confident!

If you're just starting out then one of the best tips i can give is to not get frustrated. LDing takes some time and many people get angry if they can't do it on the first try and just give up. Also, if you get frustrated then your chnces of success are greatly diminished. Don't be afraid to try other methods too. Changing it up a little bit can really help sometimes. Best of luck!

Thanks Mancon and Burke for the warm and quick replies. I have known about Lucid dreaming for about a week now and my recall of dreams is pretty good.

Welcome to dream views! This is a great place! I hope you have a great stay.

Do you have an android phone? There is an app called "dream catcher" that has an alarm for DEILD/CANWILD.

DEILD is very similar to CANWILD. So here are some helpful guides.

im new at lucid dreaming but yea,i defenetily believe that being confident will work.im using the MILD method for now.everytime i go to sleep i visualize someone that i always wanted to meet before sleeping,it makes me positive i will have one.i had already 2 near lucid dreams.well,almost.i will say sleeping on the opposite side of where you usually sleep.im pretty sure most people believe that sleeping on the opposite side of the bed (head is where your feet are when you sleep normally) will not work, but hey, thats how i got my first dream where i realized i was dreaming (didnt become lucid though).

hopefully we will get our first lucid dream soon ^.^
