      Hello, Dreamview!

I have noticed ever since I was six or so Iv had a strange ability to save dreams, and and in some sense, reload them. Much like you woulda computer.

Say you're dreaming about going on a vacation and you wake up on "Dream Wednesday", the next time I realize I am in a dream, I can "Load up" "Dream wednesday" and complete it.

The issue is, I don't know if I will have a LD tomorrow, tonight, or next month. I'm hoping this is the place that will help me hone in on my abilities.

I will also be spending a lot of time in the GFX section if one is present (:.

      Oh yeah, the name's Justin!

Hi Justin, Welcome to Dreamviews! The forum here is really great, and you will learn a lot!

What your a describing is continuing a dream from the past. Some people here do this, including me several times.
It really depends on the person how long it takes to have your first lucid. Just keep practicing! If you haven't already I would definitely take a look at Puffin's Beginner's Guide To Lucid Dreaming! It has a lot of helpful information and will get you started.

I think a good technique for you would be MILD. After you read through Puffin's guide you should check out Naiya's MILD Technique.

How is your recall? I would recommend starting a dream journal.

Good luck! If you have any questions feel free to message me!

My recall is either. I remember every sight, feeling, sense of the dream down to when I took a step, or I don't remember anything at all.
I am definitely going to look into that. and will start keeping a journal, instead of doing it the stupid, non journal way.

Thank you for the warm welcome, I definitely feel very welcomed. (:

      Welcome to Dreamviews Justin!

I agree with Mancon to try the MILD technique. IN my experience, it is the easiest technique to learn and keep up. When I actually started trying the MILD technique, I got my first lucid in just 3 days! But lemme tell you something, no matter what technique you try, all that really matters is believing that you will become lucid. Yes you do need to create a dream journal, that is a must, and some techniques are harder than others, but all that really matters is a solid, unshaken belief that you CAN lucid dream and will. Whatever technique you try, you must believe that, and you will have amazing successes with lucid dreaming. And most importantly, never give up. All great things must be worked for. So welcome to the community! You will meet a lot of amazing people here, learns lots of new things, and have a great experience on this forum. If you have any questions regarding anything, just give me a pm or one of the very helpful dream guides!

      Happy Dreaming,
      Atras
