Hey, it's awesome that you're going start posting on the forum!

Having multiple accounts is not allowed, however, so if you have more than one I'd suggest contacting an admin (like slash112) and telling them; they will probably deactivate one of the accounts so you only have one.

Have you had any lucid dreams? If so, what methods are you using? And if not, remember that there's a whole wiki section for you to utilize.

I'm looking forward to reading some of your experiences.

): I don't remember the account sadly or the email i used. :/ (maybe a few ideas though) which is why i had to make a new one. :p

Not exactly. The furthest I have gotten is knowing it was a dream, but still not being able to do anything and in the end waking up. So I would say a no. And DILD is all i've tried, since it seems the simplest for me.
      Thank you.

In that case, I'm not sure what can be done then. I'm guessing they'd be able to search for an account that was created using the same IP address, but who knows.

Knowing that you're dreaming is the very definition of being lucid - you don't have to have control of the dream; you just have to be aware that you are asleep! So in that case, I'd definitely say it was an LD, if not one with lesser control. Most people exhibit control in some of their non-lucid dreams (flying, slaying dragons, walking on air), but they aren't lucid. Others can be lucid and have no control. Sometimes dreams just don't seem that controllable, but luckily these aren't very common; acively practicing control is another thing you can do.

If you want to DILD, feel free to have a read through my guide. Awareness and mindfulness are a very important part of lucid dreaming (being 'lucid' is just another word for being 'aware'), and the guide has a few pointers on how to go about maximizing your DILD chances.

      Hello everyone.
      Heh...
      Sounds like me.
Welcome back Nicole! I'm also trying to reboot the lucid dreaming as well. Going slowly, but patience is a virtue, and recall is built night by night, just as buildings are made brick by brick.

Hey Welcome! Glad you've decided to fully join the community.

Since you've already started to fully realize that you're dreaming, reality checks would be the next step. Do them in your waking life and get used to them, next time you decide to do one and you're in a dream you will become lucid! The easiest ones are 1. Plugging your nose and still trying to breathe (worked for my first ever successful lucid dream) and 2. Trying to put your finger through your palm (if you are dreaming, chances are it will go through!)

Other good ones are checking the time twice (look at a clock, look away, look back - if the time differs severely you're dreaming. If it's only by a minute you're not!), trying to read text, and jumping to see if you float. Hope this helps. Good luck!

      Hi!

Start by doing reality checks frequently in waking hours. Get a dream journal if you dont have one already (pretty self-explanatory). I suggest using MILD simply because its so easy to do. If you find yourself lucid, do something to stabilise the dream immediately. If you can grasp this early on, it'll make your life sooo much easier - and curiously this is something not many dream guides emphasise.

^^ Haha, very witty indeed. :3
Thank everyone for the tips and ideas. I appreciate it.
I'll take a look into the MILD technique. I have a dream journal ( rarely write it down though. :/) and I like using the writing on my hand. "You're dreaming" And constantly checking it. Hopefully i'll make some progress.
