      Dream Journal + School

      Hi everyone,
I've been on school vacation until now, so I just wake up and write my dream down on my DJ. But vacation's about to end, and I won't have the time i have now. Just wondering how you guys do it on work/school time... My DJ is a notebook btw.

Here in my country, it's school time. Everyday, I wake up 1-3:00 in the morning just to attempt to LD even though I have to wake up 5:30am to prepare my things for school. It's kinda been part of my daily routine to wake up 1-3:00am. Sometimes, I take naps on weekends to "repay" my lost sleeping hours.

I wake up twice a night naturally, so recall isn't usually a problem for me.

It doesn't take too much extra to wake up and just jot down a few things. You cold flesh it out on the way to class too.
Try and keep a good sleep schedule, but of course with school you'd have to make it flexible.

How long does it normally take you to update your journal? Could you somehow reduce the amount of time to 5 or 10 minutes? That really should be plenty of time.

If I don't have time or don't feel like writing my whole dream sometimes I will just write down a few key words. That is usually enough for me to remember the dream later and write it down.

Sometimes I will jot down a few notes or key impressions in the morning, then come back to review them the next night before going to sleep. It is fun to do this right before bed. It keeps my intentions and enthusiasm fresh.

I usually take around 5 minutes now.

I'm not sure if that will work for me, my memory is awful and my dreams aren't very vivid yet, but i'll give it a try though.

      Thank you for your replies

You don't have to write a big thing, just write key words and phrases down, then maybe add more when you get back
