I, myself, often have 3rd person point of view but that's just how the dream is. Some people dream this way and others only in 1st person. You likely have a higher chance of having one than others but they likely won't make up all of them. |

So for awhile I have had issues recalling dreams and thats the most frustrating part. However the ones that I do faintly remember, come into my head as if I were watching a movie. What I mean is that my dreams seem to be in third person rather than first.... |

I often dream in third person, and sometimes have dreams which are entirely set up like movies, with soundtracks and cuts and everything. I'm sure if you become lucid you'd be able to force a 1st person perspective, or maybe just thinking about being in a 1st person perspective during your waking life would influence your dreams. |

I often dream in 3rd person too. In fact, most dreams have a movie-like quality to them, until you experience being lucid, and then everything snaps into 3D and you are actually "present" in the dream, and not a spectator. It might be that my dreams were 3rd person dreams, but when I turned lucid I "snapped" into the main character... I don't know. Someone who's had lots and lots of LDs might know about that. I wouldn't worry about 3rd person, though. Work on getting lucid and you will be 1st person, I guarantee it! |

Thanks for all the advice and comments! At least I know that this is a common thing. Im going to work hard on becoming lucid so I can truly experience my dreams! |
