Sounds like you had a bad dream. What's good about lucid dreams is, that you can change a bad dream into something nicer. Please check out the Dream Conrol forum, where you can read about different ways to change your dream.

You can either change snakes into something cute, like kittens, just by saying "look at those kittens". And learning to fly may take some time. Or you can change the whole dreamscape into something else.

Most of the lucid dreams are nice, just as most of your regular dreams are nice, and not nightmares. Happy dreams
