Thread: When I met myself.(Intro)

I have always fantasized about making video games since early childhood. More games should focus on dreamtime! I have to say that you gotta go for the experiential psychedelic mystifying genre. The best games are the ones you can be the most creative! Anyway, welcome and congratulations on your journey of awareness, fellow traveller.

I knew this website would bring like minded company. I do see video games as a chance to provide people with anexperience they could only attain in the most vivid and lucid of dreams. "Style' over polygon count A chance to go crazy with everything after you get core game game-play down is how I see it. It is the reason I am exited to start my LDs as just researching and keeping a journal have boosted my dreams, thus my recall(only partial lucidity so far). I aim to create parts of my game (whole if it works out good) in my dreams and instantly wake myself up to document them and implement the best into the actual game. I'm not sure if that is out of an amateurs reach but it is my goal and I am stickin' to it

Yo, nice to see more people here who are into video games.
I haven't created any full video game just yet though, but i was making various separate creations for other games, custom mods and maps, i usually value gameplay over everything else though most of time, which is pretty much the reason i dislike the most of today's popular games. I say Gameplay comes first and last. Perfect and polish that. Then focus on the rest. It is a GAME after all and most devs seem to forget this.
