      Hi everyone :)

      Hi everyone, happy to be a part of this community

      I decided to join Dreamviews because the other site I posted something on shot down my post immediately claiming that analyzing a dream is "bullshit" without even reading the content first. Unfortunately that's not what I'm looking for, and so I hope this community is a step above the rest.

      A lot of people here don't really believe in dream analysis but we are generally more accepting than other communities so don't worry about your ideas being shot down here. Are you just here for your normal dreams or are you considering being involved in lucid dreaming?

      Welcome to DV! By dream analysis do you mean dream interpretation or something different? Anyway I think one of the secrets to dreamviews is that while it has a large community but it also has enclaves of people with shared interests, for example there is a subforum on dream interpretation and another on beyond dreaming and many more and some of us are more likely to post in some of these subforums than others, and that's ok. Sometimes people will post in threads of course completely turning the thread around, but if one does not like a thread anymore, one can always unsubscribe from it. And in general people here are very tolerant, sometimes to an absurd degree.
