      Hey Everybody! Introduction Awaits Inside

      Hello fellow dream-viewers,

This is the start of what I hope know will be a spectacular journey into the realm of lucid dreaming.

A few years ago I stumbled upon the concept of lucid dreaming and it sucked me in. The topic enthralled the sense of wonder and imagination in me and I devoured everything and anything on the topic in a headlong sprint to have my first LD. A sprint that led me to the wealth of information on Dream Views. Unfortunately, this coincided with the start of my freshman year of college. The necessities of school, the allures of parent-free social life and a stupendous amount of weed led to a fizzle of my passion for LD (or more accurately put: I didn't feel like putting the time or effort into it so I didn't). Over the next few years I often "got back" into LDing, but it was always listlessly and never lasted long.

Skip ahead a few years and my zeal for LDing has returned in spades. A few years of emotional, intellectual and spiritual maturity have left me in an ideal place to restart my treck into the world of LDs.

I can't wait to get back into the DV community and learn my way from barely-remembers-dreams to exploring-my-own-dream-scape.

Hey man welcome. I'm also new here in the forums, when I first read about lucid dreaming I was so intrigued by the concept but never had the time or commitment. Although, I had a lucid dream about three days ago but nothing happened. It was really funny actually, I was underwater with my friend and I thought to myself, how can I breathe underwater?? I kept telling my friend that this must be a dream and I looked at my hands and I only had three fingers, then I was too excited and woke up
