      Hey! :)

      Hello.

I found this forum today and I was surprised - didn't expect to find big LD forum like this. In life, almost always I am surrounded by people, who doesn't even know what is lucid dreaming and thinks I am crazy when I talk about it, so it is really nice to find a lots of other dreamers.

My lucid dreaming experience - I started about 2 years ago, but had some breaks, so far experienced only about 17 lucid dreams (I am counting only the successful ones), tried WILD, DILD, MILD, WBTB and finally discovered the best technique for me, which is a special meditation every night (and of course reality checks and dream journal besides that), it triggers the lucidity about every third night or even more often, but I have a problem with staying and fully controlling the dream... Any suggestions?

And what is your favorite technique?

Everyone is different, so you have to find what works for you. But, what most people do to stay in the dream is, once they get in they stabilize it and get right to what they want to do. As for fully controlling the dream, you're going to want to practice Dream Control. The shortcut to dream control, is just KNOWING that you can do whatever you are trying to do, and it will work. Also, the technique that I use, is really DILD i guess. I use self awareness all throughout the day, but I dont really do reality checks. personally I think using self awareness for DILD is just next to the simplicity of doing DEILD. Both very good techniques. Anyways, welcome Mellanhavande! Nice to have another dreamer on board!

-Become Lucid in every dream every night
      -Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams

OneUpBoy71, thanks for answer! I know how to stabilize (rubbing hands, spinning, doing simple math (6+5=?) etc), but when I become lucid, I forget all that.
I always just repeat that ''This is a dream, I am dreaming'', and start doing something, and eventually the dream fails.

So because of all that, the controlling isn't working perfectly as well. For example, my last lucid dream - I really wanted to meet a specific person so I truly imagined, that he is standing right behind the door, waiting for me, I said that to dream, went to open the door and behind that was some big wardrobe. What the hell?
