Lucid dreams can help with premonitory dreams? Please help.

Hello ^_^ I have recently started to feel curious about Lucid Dreaming, but even though I am interested in trying some techniques I am afraid of doing so, because I have very strong nightmares. And sadly 3 of them have become a reality. Two of them were airplane accidents and the other was a recent car accident. In all the cases the accidents happened after just a few hours of my dream. The airplane accidents dreams were years ago and I decided to think about them as a coincidence, but after the last one, which happened last week I am starting to feel that I need to be ready if this happens again.
After reading about lucid dreams I can say I have had at least two lucid dreams, they were long and detailed. In one of them I was flying and I remember that I was able to decide where to fly. And the other one was a sad experience, I remember I knew I was dreaming but I couldn't wake up, even when I tried hard to wake up. I had no control.
Now that you know about the kind of dreams that I have, do you think it would be helpful for me to try Lucid dreams techniques? Or it would be counterproductive?
I apologize for my bad english, and hope someone can help.
      Thanks a lot ♡

I don't think there is any established way you should go about handling premonitory dreams. Maybe if you can go lucid and change the dream, like stop the car crash from happening, then you can change real life? who knows.

      Hey Romy, welcome to DV.

I too have had dreams like this. Pretty trippy.

I like Shamanite's advice on maybe changing the dream outcome if you can. Depending on how many nightmares you have. If you're having these dreams a lot without much of them coming true then it'll only have you left paranoid in waking life. I personally wouldn't take too much notice and just enjoy yourself and not worry. Don't let this stop your lucid journey.

I hope you work things out, all the best
