      Short time lurker/New member

Hi all! I stumbled across this forum a few weeks ago and finally decided to join. I've been practicing with lucid dreaming for roughly three years now and have only had two or three fully lucid dreams. I'm looking for all the tips and pointers I can get, I've really been trying to get serious here lately, it's been quite some time since my last LD. I will say, my main issue is discipline, especially with my dream journal. Well, I hope I will learn a lot from you guys and strengthen my lucid dreaming skills.

      Hey TheDjentleman, welcome man.

Discipline is a big key, you have got that right. The dream journal is the backbone in lucid dreaming I reckon. As Josh said, read up and practice. Best advice I can give you is to master the basics first, and don't swap and change techniques if one isn't working for you. It takes time in most cases.
