Thread: Return to the world of Lucid Dreaming

Hey all,

I've been around the forum for what seems like forever now - I had my first peak interest in LDs back when I was at university. Unfortunately at the time my sleeping pattern was erratic and my hours were random so I found it pretty difficult to stick to - I started keeping a dream journal and was pretty good at reality checks, however this stopped suddenly when I saw barely any results from my effort and went back to erratic sleeping patterns.

I'm now in a full time job, and some recent conversations have gotten me interested in lucid dreaming again. I really want to have a proper stab at it this time, including keeping a proper dream journal and giving myself goals. A really interesting project I've set myself is to try and create a consistent DC in my dreams - someone I can give a name and personality, kind of like a dream guide. I'm hoping that this will be a good motivational tool and there are quite a few possibilities in terms of the conversations that could arise from it. Just an idea among many others.

Anyway, I'm wondering if the dream buddy system still exists from several years ago? Someone I can liaise with on the forum and share journals and experiences for motivation? And if not - if anyone is interested in talking more, perhaps talking over Skype and ensuring we both reach our goals, that would be fantastic.
