Return to the world of Lucid Dreaming

      Hey all,

I've been around the forum for what seems like forever now - I had my first peak interest in LDs back when I was at university. Unfortunately at the time my sleeping pattern was erratic and my hours were random so I found it pretty difficult to stick to - I started keeping a dream journal and was pretty good at reality checks, however this stopped suddenly when I saw barely any results from my effort and went back to erratic sleeping patterns.

I'm now in a full time job, and some recent conversations have gotten me interested in lucid dreaming again. I really want to have a proper stab at it this time, including keeping a proper dream journal and giving myself goals. A really interesting project I've set myself is to try and create a consistent DC in my dreams - someone I can give a name and personality, kind of like a dream guide. I'm hoping that this will be a good motivational tool and there are quite a few possibilities in terms of the conversations that could arise from it. Just an idea among many others.

Anyway, I'm wondering if the dream buddy system still exists from several years ago? Someone I can liaise with on the forum and share journals and experiences for motivation? And if not - if anyone is interested in talking more, perhaps talking over Skype and ensuring we both reach our goals, that would be fantastic. Feel free to let me know by PM or reply if you're interested!

Hope to be more active in the forums in the future, wish me luck!

      Azra ~

      Hey there Azra! Welcome back!

I am also returning to LDing, though I have only been away for a few months to properly start school. I'd love to talk to you on skyp if you want to. Mr name is mrpriority on there too. Having a buddy can be very motivational indeed! I have had some LD's already. Did a few things in my LD's, but I still feel very much like a beginner so we have that in common I am not really in to the whole Dream Journal posting stuff. I have found it becoming stressfull because I disliked it so much, so I won't be much help there, but I do take LDing quite seriously.

So if you are interested just add me on skype! And if not, just ignore me, thats totally fine too of course

Thanks for the reply - I'll add you when I get home

Looking at your signature, I think I need some kind of LD checklist too!

hey! i experienced the same way... like a year ago was so interested with LD... and one technique i could rehearse is DILD... 'cause it's pretty simple...
i had done it like 3 times... and i quit because my day became so busy... but lately like 2 weeks ago i experienced LD again... it still made me excited, so i decided to try it again
we do really hope this site still accept us.. Lol
how to make a signature? haha
