Welcome Celluin! Nice to have you in the family!
As for your question, the best way to prevent that from happening is to come to the realization that the dream world is all inside of your head, none of it is real. So, if none of it is real then there is nothing to be afraid of man! You're all good!
If you feel like that isn't enough, remember, in a lucid dream, you can do whatever you want. You can give yourself powers to fight the fear and bad things that it brings. But if you really want to fight that negativity, I would suggest opening yourself to it, realizing that it is all you. Show that negativity love and it tends to disappear in the dream world. I have experience with both approaches, and they both work.

      Goals:
-Become Lucid in every dream every night
      -Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams

Welcome to DV, Celluin! It's great to have you here!

It sounds like you're already having success with the WILD technique. Is that right? Good stuff! How long have you been practicing lucid dreaming?

when i get a LD fear sets in and bad things happen how do you keep that from happening?
Good question! I like OneUp's ideas above, and in addition to that, I think that it's effective to simply refuse to give negative emotions any of your energy. When you feel fear or rage or other strong, negative emotions that tend to make your dream turn cruddy, I suggest simply treating these things as they don't exist... because they don't unless you let them! It's your dream world, and you are the source of all of their energy.

This advice can be difficult to follow in practice. At least judging by how often I forget to follow it in my dreams. But over time it becomes more and more of a habit. (A good habit, IMO.)

Anyhow, great to have you here. Let us know if we can help you out as you continue your journey!

sorry i forgot to mention something. What i meant about new to WILD was as i was reading how to do it. then i just realized i did it before without knowing i remember the dream snippets and one turning into a full dream.
that has only happend once but i think i can do it again after reading what to do.
