      introduction

      Hey there.
As you guessed I'm new here. Very new to lucid dreaming.
I'm a very logical person not at all the kind of person you would think would be trying to lucid dream. Generally not into meditation our spiritual stuff.lol.
Lucid dreams don't come naturally to me and before starting off about 4 months ago I had never had a loci dream before. I have managed to have 2 lucid dream since then. Last night was my second time. My first LD
Was very basic one small scene no people I managed to climb down the side of a 4 story building walk around but couldn't climb back up despite telling my self I can because it's a dream. The second was longer and had more scenes(I have been reading up on dream control) managed to change scenes but couldn't control what scene was next there were people but I didn't have any control over that. The dream was very fuzzy. Both dreams I was very aware of my physical body and where I was lying. So I have a lot of questions and a long way to go and am open to advise and sharing.

      Have a great day

Welcome, Jax! Nice to have you here.

Don't worry, people have all different reasons for lucid dreaming - some are spiritual, others are just for fun and adventures! We have a good mix of interests and personalities on the forum so you won't feel out of place.

It's great that you've already had a couple of lucid dreams! Our tutorials and DV Academy are good places to start if you're ready to start practising induction techniques.
Keeping a dream journal is also very useful for lucid dreaming. It can improve your ability to remember your dreams, and help you become more aware of your common dream themes so you can start to recognise them while you're dreaming.

Good luck, and hope to see you around!
