      new but not inexperienced

Hi everyone. I joined this site a few months ago to learn from what others are doing to induce lucid dreams. I've had around 10 lucid dreams over the last 20 years but they have all been spontaneous and happen randomly. In the last 3 months I've read about a lot of induction techniques and have tried FILD,MILD and DILD. Also keeping a dream journal. Mild has worked really well for my dream recall. I used to not remember any dreams and now 5 to 7 a week. Some quite vivid. I have had 3 LDs in the last 3 months but only one with good controll. I was proud of myself for remembering to rub my hands, yell more clarity to prolong the dream and ask questions of my subconscious. Although the answers I got made no sense.

So now I have decent dream recall but no matter what I do I still can't induce a LD. what should I do now? I welcome any suggestions. Thanks

Welcome to DV. I actually had about 10 lucid dreams my whole life until I turned 21, so I was in the same boat! I have been working on LDing for about 3 and a half years now... man I love it.

I personally would recommend this thread.
      http://www.dreamviews.com/dreamviews...e-told-me.html

It talks a lot about the expectations that you should have when starting LDing and what you are going to see/experience as you progress.

Also, I think that one of the best places to go on the site is the Dreamviews Academy. We have teachers that will help you in your lucid ways. A lot of people have been raised here on DV and know what you need for a computer education. Click the Link below for Dreamviews Academy:
