      Hi!

      Hey everyone,

I decided to make an account here as I regularly have dreams that I can remember (almost on a nightly basis) and wanted to find out more about how to control them. I have also had a few lucid dreams that I can remember and enjoyed them.

Another reason is that 4 or 5 times a month I have a nightmare which leads to me wailing in my sleep, occasionally waking me up. Sometimes I remember this happening, sometimes I don't. I have also been told a couple of times that I say words, most recently being told that I was shouting 'noooo whhyyy?!' by someone who was sleeping nearby. On this occasion I can't recall the nightmare or anything else for that matter. I don't know if it is possible but maybe if I practice lucid dreaming that I might able to understand why it happens and maybe figure out a way to stop it.

      Cheers!

      Welcome purplespade!

Lucid dreaming can defintely help you deal with your nightmares. Once you're lucid you will be able to change the dream in the direction you want it to go. Also, with practice you can reduce the overall occurence of nightmares.
Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.
