      Hi,

I'm pahan, I got interested in lucid dreaming about 2 years ago. there was a time that i continuously tried to have a lucid dream, i used a dream journal for about 2 weeks and also did reality checks constantly throughout the day during that time, but had no luck. But very recently I gained lucidity in a dream i had, i lasted few minutes in dream time. but it felt great. It was very odd because i didn't even do reality checks during that day, but i do know that in order to have lucid dreams regularly i should do reality checks, write a journal and increase my self awareness. So from today onward i am determined to do those things to achieve that wonderful state of lucid dreaming.

      my first goals are,
      1. increase dream vividity
      2. increase dream recall

also, im on lexapro 20mg(SSRI) for about a year now, Could it affect my dreaming.?

      Welcome to the forum!

I've never heard of Lexapro, but pretty much any drug can affect your dreams, whether for better or for worse. Still, it's definitely possible for you to learn to lucid dream, since you're obviously still dreaming.

Anyway, let us know if you have any questions, and feel free to stop by the IRC chat.
