Talking Can't Think of a Title

I've recently gotten interested in LD'ing and within one week of trying I already had two lucid dreams! And it was amazing!
One short one and one long one. The long one started with a false awakening and it was crazy vivid and felt so real.
The feeling to be completely conscious in a dream is... well, I don't have to explain how great it feels, most of you already know this
I've come across this forum and it looks like a pretty cool community. I'm always eager to learn new things and techniques.
I'm also interested in having OOBE's (or astral projection, as some call it) but I still have to overcome my fear of SP

Anyways, I'm off to sleep now and hopefully I'll have another lucid dream.
... I mean, I WILL have one! That's the spirit right?

      Welcome to the forum!

Don't worry, SP is nothing to afraid of. What most people call SP is actually REM Atonia, a completely normal thing that happens every night as you fall asleep. Knowing what it is and why it happens is the first step to making it not scary. You can read more about it here: http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-yoga...explained.html

Anyway, let us know if you have any questions, and come check us out in the IRC chat.

I understand that it's an irrational fear. I found myself transitioning to SP once and I started hearing whispering voices and shit, it sounded so real... It creeped me out, so I quickly snapped out of it

Welcome to the forums. Also if you do happen to find yourself in a SP you might already be in a dream ( especially if you were trying to attain lucidity just before going to sleep ). You can just get up and start your lucid adventure! Also I think you might like this thread -> Post Lucid Dreams Memes here

May you get more lucid dreams, or, you will, especially with that confident attitude!
