      So Many Questions

I have had lucid dreams all of my life but never knew it even had a name. I am hoping to get answers to many questions, so figured I would start here. I just always kept this a secret because I didn't want anyone to think I was crazy . Nice to be able to communicate about this.
My first lucid dream that I can remember was when I was about 7 when I created a cardboard box with controls in my dream and I could travel above the rooftops to anywhere I wanted to go. I had dreams I would be running and start floating out of control until I figured out if I put my hands to my sides I would go up and put my hands up I would go down. I got to the point I couldn't wait to go to sleep. I mastered my nightmares to the point I rarely had them anymore. I never kept a dream journal but started this week. I wish I had done so, years ago. I am now in my 50's and wished I had known about all of this years ago. In my opinion my dreams have been a way for me to prepare myself for real life. I have gone through so much in real life and feel I am so much stronger because of my dreams. I look forward to learning here. Thank you for the opportunity.
