      Hello and greetings everyone

I'm new here on site. Just thought I'd introduce myself.

I am a woman in my 50s, living and working in Yorkshire, UK, and I have been lucid dreaming for much of my life, on and off - whilst I'm asleep in bed I mean of course, LOL! It is something that has always intrigued me, and several years ago when I lived in London, lucid dreaming took on a whole new meaning for me when I began having out of body experiences. This led me to attend an in-depth course with the IIPC as it was called then (International Institute of Conscientiology & Projectiology), which studies OBEs and Near Death Experiences, as well all things to do with human consciousness. It helped me to understand more of what was going on.

I left London a few years ago to return to my home town up north, and things have been somewhat in turmoil so the lucid dreaming had to come to a halt (I find too many lucid dreams in a week can leave me feeling somewhat drained, mentally and physically). Anyway, I'm now far more settled and able to recommence my experiments in this subject. I look forward to chatting with all of you in this group, and learning more. Also, if I can help anyone else by relating anything from my own experiences, then I will be more than happy to do so.

      Peace to all.

Hello Cheyenne. Like you, I went from LD's to OBE's and things started to get very strange indeed. Then it went quiet and I began to feel frustrated at my inability to induce these experiences at will. Now, thanks to Thomas Yuschak and his supplement research, I can once again go to that place where I've aways felt most comfortable... non-physical reality.

I've never heard of the IIPC. What are they called now? Do they have a website?

Hi Astrius, The IIPC's headquarters is in Brazil. They have an English website at http://www.iacworld.org/English/Reso...tions/IIPC.asp
There is one in Spanish at www.iipc.org also. This non-profit making educational and research organisation was founded by Professor Waldo Vieira, who has written quite a few books on the subject of the projection of consciousness.

And thanks to Clairity and others for your warm welcome and links which I will take a look at.

As well as the IIPC, I owe a great deal to Dr Keith Hearne who runs Past Life Rediscovery courses. He really encouraged me into the habit of recording my dreams, and we kept in touch for some years, my regularly updating him on how the lucid dreams were going. He never got his eager mits on my dream journals though, much as he nagged me for them. LOL!

Welcome to the forum cheyenne! Another English person Making up our numbers...

That OBE stuff sounds interesting and is something I've always been interested in doing. Apparently my uncle had OBE'd but then got scared and stopped doing it.

By the way there is a Beyond Dreaming section right here in the forum for you to share your experiences.
