Wink I'm new, figured I'd share some experiences.

I often have dreams where I can tell that they are just dreams. Usually it will be while I'm dreaming I'll notice something that shouldn't be. More often than not its certain situations I know I would never put myself in IRL. When I realize this, I usually just change the dream. I've never done the "spinning" or anything like that to change my dreams, usually its just I'll rewind it to where it started and rewrite how it goes That way is kind of neat.

When I was a kid I used to have a repeated dream that I could fly. I could usually force myself to dream about it, as I wanted to fly. All i would really do is think about that dream that I had had previously and then I would dream about it, same beginning everytime, but I could change what happened. I haven't tried that one in a while, although now that I think about it it would be cool.

Regarding dreams in general, what I dream about is usually whatever I'm thinking about when I fall asleep. So if I want to dream about that gorgeous guy I met today, or surfing in Australia (lol), then thats what I think about before going to sleep. However, usually when I think about these things they are just dreams, and I dont usually get to control them. But there is an "occasionally" in there. I do realize they are dreams on occasion, and thats where its fun.

I dont think I've ever done SP, never tried, and I've never woken up from dreaming like that. Probably because I cant sit/lay still for more than like 5 minutes at a time.

Well there you go have fun with it
Some see things as they are and say, "Why?" I dream of things that never were and say, "Why not?

      Hi to Dreamviews !

If you want to get into SP, you'll need to learn to relax for more than the 5 minutes you've been talking about. Some useful techniques for relaxing into SP are here; Click This

      Hey, welcome to DV!

Sounds like you are a natural lucid dreamer. That just means that you LD without having to use techniques. Did you start to LD as a little kid? I'm a natural, too. I started LDing as a child in response to nightmares.

Are you keeping a dream journal (DJ) yet? If not keeping one can really help with dream recall. I keep my DJ on paper, but a lot of people like to keep one on-line.
