Well, You sound desperate! Lets see, The first step to Lucid Dreaming is to keep a Dream Journal that you write your dreams in the second you wake up. This simply improves your Dream Recall so you dont forget your dreams easier. Now, there are many different ways of obtaining a Lucid Dream and they can be found in the "Attaining Lucidity" Section. I guess thats where you should start off!

      How's it going, Greschner?

First off, as was said, be prepared to start a dream journal. This is going to be your most important tool in starting to keep track of your dreams and dream signs (plus, it's usually a lot of fun to look back on your past experiences).

As far as remembering your dreams, make sure you're getting a good night's sleep, as the most intense REM periods are in the later hours of sleep. Set in your mind, as you're lying down for bed, the intention to remember your dreams, keep your mind trained on this thought. Even though you know you're going to be going to sleep, don't completely shut off, to where you turn off your thinking mind. Assert to yourself that "I will remember my dreams. I will remember my dreams[/i]."

Also, don't expect groundbreaking success tomorrow morning. Don't get discouraged if waking up tomorrow is just like waking up any other day. These kinds of things don't just happen over night, when you're so out of practice. Give yourself a week of practice before you even start to worry about it. Just go to sleep each night with the intention to remember your dreams.

Another, more effective, technique would be to try a WBTB (Wake-Back-To-Bed). This involves waking up a few hours before you normally do, so that you are more likely to catch yourself waking up in the middle of an REM period. That way, it will be much easier for you to remember what you were just dreaming about. Then, stay up for just a few minutes (it would help to come to Dream Views in that time, and look up some dream-related material). Then, if you want to jump right into trying for a lucid dream, go back to bed with the intention to keep your mind focused enough to realize when you're no longer "lying in bed," but you're in a dream scenario. This, to me and many, is the most efficient way of becoming lucid.
