1. don't move a muscle when you gain consciousness in the morning and try to remember your dream |
|
When i first started lucid dreaming i had great recall and good clarity in all my dreams. After my first lucid i lost my dream recall COMPLETELY!! This lasted about 1 month. Now i have on and off dream recall. Sometimes i remember dreams, sometimes i don't. Usually it's after I've waken up, taken a shower, etc. And i remember them very randomly. Sometimes just by saying "Man, i don't remember having a dream last night" causes most of my dream to come back to me. Then i have to rush to my journal and write about it. I've tried SP right before bed and WBTB in the mornings. I feel like im getting nowhere in lucid dreaming and need some advise. PLZ HELP!!!! |

TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!

Don't worry too much about it... Stress can cancel any progress you make. |

Bollocks.
Let dream recall attempts be the first thing you do in the morning, immediately write in your journal after you wake up. Even if you can't remember exactly what happened in the dream, write something down - even if it's only a feeling. |
|
You can also try to make a dream "anchor". Look at an object near your bed and tell yourself that "When I look at this object I will remember my dreams". Then when you wake up you should look at the object right away and try to remember your dreams. A sort of autosuggestion technique I guess? |
