      First Lucid Dream (I Think)!!

I'm not sure if it was an actual lucid dream, since i have bad recall, but i am really happy and surprised, since it was my first dream to remember for at least a week, and i had kind of given up .I'm definitely going to improve my dream recall now . Also, does it feel "different" when you wake up from a lucid dream? because I sure didn't

I don't feel different after a lucid dream, sometimes more energized since my brain has been thinking logically for some time, but no, not normally. For recall, I recommend laying in bed with your eyes closed, your brain will turn it's dreaming parts back on because it thinks you're going back to sleep, the memory of your last dream should come with it.

I do feel different when I wake up from a lucid dream, which is why my bad recall never gave me a problem for actually knowing whether I had a lucid or not. I don't groggy, rather, the logical part of my brain has been up and running for a while. It like accidentally going from one part of the universe to another really fast....it's hard to explain.

I don't feel different after a lucid dream. In fact, quite often I get out of bed as normal, get my breakfast, go to school, sit down in class and then BAM... "Holy shit! I had a lucid dream!" And then all my memories come back from it, and I feel different... But that feeling is just happiness, not much else.

But uhh, for my first one or two, I realised I just had a lucid dream straight away after waking up, so that happiness kicked in straight away.

my dreams usually come to me later as well. I can remember all kinds of events with great detail, but sometimes i have trouble remembering what order they happened in, and theres always wholes. In my latest lucid, i don't even remember what triggered my lucidity. As far as i can remember i was in this very large metal pipe and knew i was dreaming. I took a few steps around and was amazed at how real I felt standing there. I tried to conjure a person who turned out like a 1 foot tall toy and ran off. i began to chase it through pipes and then lost the dream.

I find that an important part in dream recall is knowing that it's all there in your mind...you don't really forget it but rather lack the access to it at that time.
just know it'll make its way to the surface eventually.
