Technological Zombies!

Hi all;

Yes.. Technology is good.. Off course it's good and important.. No one can deny this, and nearly no one can not live without it.

BUT

What if you lost your social life because of technology? Not only outside home within your friends and colleagues.. But also at home with your family!

At home, my family members, lost any eye contact.
Yes we are talking to each other, but without looking at each other.
Each one of us, is looking at his/her computer, cell phone, Ipod, or even the TV.

No one is looking at the other.

Yes, i am an internet addict.. But i am the only one at home that became conscious about this addiction; so that's why i started to try to fight against it.

But my other family members, are not conscious about their addiction. And every time i start to ask them to look at me while talking, i always receive negative and aggressive feedback.

Few weeks ago, NASA announced that in 2013, the sun will reach its peak of solar flares, which will strongly affect the earth, and may cause electricity blackout around the world, and may last from days to months!

We do not need to mention the possible effects of such incident.
No communications, no long-distance transportation, no heating and cooling.. Which means, nearly no life.. Or at least our current knowable life style.

So, How will those internet addicted people react to something like that?!

I feel that they will be like zombies!

So, technology is the result of human needs and creativity.

We should use technology as a mean, not to make it use us.

We should not get addicted to it, because it will destroy us.

Unfortunately, we became technology's slaves.

How could we save the world from addicting technology?
How can we save the world from "The Blackout Zombie-trigger" ?!
