Why did it take me a decade to figure out that my former best friend is actualling an ass... good thing we don't hang out anymore.

I've come to the realization that for a long time I wanted to be this cool guy, and I was trying too hard that I lost myself. I started smoking too much weed, hung out with the wrong kind of people and made bad choices. Now I've ditched my bad friends (also the one I mentioned before in this post) and I am now 15 days clean of weed. I feel much better, and even though I've been friendless for a good two months I am slowly going back to the right people. This life of mine is full of twists and bumps in the road, but that makes it exciting. I guess I feel more in control now. So yey for me.

I hope everyone here is doing well too. (:

Went golfing for the first time and my husband managed to accidentally whack me in the shoulder with a golf ball when he was teeing off (I was a little in front of him and off to the side, sitting in the golf cart, so I thought "Surely he wouldn't be so horrible to hit the ball over here!" but he did.). So that really hurts. It was the area in between my shoulder blade and the ball of the shoulder, now it hurts to move my arm around. Other than that it was fun. I just hope it heals fast to I can get back to working out and practicing with my bow.

Ugh.. I am SO stuffed. My daughter cashed her pay check today so she bought us dinner. Hotdogs with the works, cantelope, corn, mac and cheese with broccolli. I took one bite of hotdog, ate all the mac and cheese and barely touched the rest. That mac was friggin delicious.
And now I'm ready for bed lol

Astaroth, I know what you mean. I wanted to smack my daughter and her friend when we went to Wal-mart yesterday. Of course, I only picked up snips of their conversation with Customer Service, but those kids were so rude. I quickly scurried them off so the woman wouldn't hear them. But she probably heard at least a little. "Thanks for nothing!" "No help at all!" Ugh. Brittany was wanting Destinee to cash her check for her because she doesn't have an ID. I told them ahead of time that Walmart wouldn't. And then they found out the checks couldn't be cashed until today which flipped my daughter out. Seriously? All of that aggression over stuff Customer service has no control over?
But the kids said the woman was rude to them. I didn't hear that, so maybe they were in the right. I just told my daughter that sometimes it's better to just walk away than create your own drama. It's usually just not worth it!!

I'm starting to have a gut feeling, and lately i just summed up all the life happenings in the last 6 months and put the puzzles together....and i don't like what i came up with because i was wondering why on certain things and nothing was sounding right from the answers...now i know who i'm dealing with.
Time to put up my maternal instincts and work on them and BY them. I was told that i can't read minds or know the future, well "they" are dead wrong now, try and read my mind and what is going down.

I know that takes a little bit of self-control, but try it.
Assuming you still have a HDD and not an SSD.
The 30 seconds or so that it takes to restart will delay that reward mechanism.
It's kinda like using methadone instead of heroin (although obviously not the same at all lol).
You can still go on reddit if you want to, but you have to go through the restart to do it.

Rant: I am finding it super difficult to study as well. I keep watching TV shows. Thankfully I finished Six Feet Under finally, and also Enlightened.
But I still did fuck all today, like 100 words of an essay....
Started drinking at 4 in the afternoon thinking it would help my headache and help me write the essay.
It helped the headache at least. But that means it is obviously caused by withdrawals.
I've been drinking daily for far too long. Time flies. It's just day after day and eventually you realise you've been doing it for months, or years.
Whatever self-destructive thing it is....

Oh yeah and the other Lankan girl at work basically admitted she loves me, again.
I want out of that place.

My first girlfriend contacted me again, like she does randomly when she's high or sad or wants to get high.
Also talking to my second girlfriend again on this Chinese social app thing that I added for Chinese class.
She being real weird.
Not sure what's going on with either of them tbh.

There are a lot of beaches there. Some are quite nice, I went with my ex to one near there, and also Lankan girl.
The one with my ex was better, it's got this long pile of rocks about 500 metres out in to the ocean.

Oh and yeah, I live close to those, sort of. About 2.5 hour drive, but we have a little house up there very close to them as well.

This week has been so shit. A friend came over to my house on Monday. And we got drunk together so that was fun. But I had such a bad hangover the next day.
I got drunk by myself on Wednesday and Thursday just to forget about my problems. And let's just say that I felt even worse afterwards.

On Friday, I went to bed at about 1am. So ofcourse everyone was asleep already. Right before I went to bed, I saw that I had a red rash on my chest and tummy. But I just ignored it. A few minutes laters, I started feeling really dizzy and lightheaded. And it seemed like my heart was beating very fast and irregular? It honestly felt like I was about to pass out. But after about two hours, I felt somewhat better and I fell asleep at 3am. When I woke up the next morning, I was fine but I just had a small chest pain. I still have no idea what happened that night. I was supposed to go to the hospital in January. But I couldn't go for some reason, so I think I should make a new appointment, just to make sure my heart is okay.

And ofcourse my scars haven't faded yet. I have to go back to school tomorrow and we also have pe. I'm so freaking scared.
They are barely visible though, but sometimes they get really worse? And I don't even know why. So I have to prepare myself for the worst. Because I'm really expecting to get bullied tomorrow and I just don't know if I can go through this. If I would have a gun right now, I wouldn't even hesitate to use it and kill myself.
Because everything's better than going to school tomorrow lol

Crashy. Screw those punks! I hope everything is okay health wise. I'd definitely make another appointment!

That's a great idea about restarting the computer btw. I don't think I'd be determined enough to do that (no reason to), but for students or people that need to break the internet habit, I think that could help!

My rant is that I woke at 10AM when the power when out. My AC shut off, so I shouted to my son (who was in the kitchen) "Who blew the breaker!" He shouted back that the power was out in the entire house Which woke me up because I worry a little about our electricity. There are scorch marks around several of our outlets and they have since died. The lights in the kitchen don't work nor in the Master bedroom (attached), because a tree went through the roof and workers patched it up, but I think water got in anyhow and shorted out the lights (they're ceiling units).

I sat in the sun for 10 minutes to warm up then I drove to Exxon to see if they had power. Nope. There was no power for the 3 miles or so it takes to get to walmart... and the power was out for about 3 miles in the other direction as well.
So! I was actually somewhat productive. I got my laundry hung up; I took the kittens outside to play (2 out of the 3 I took hid under my skirt the entire time lol); I put my plants outside and I cleaned a couple shelves.
The electric came on after just 3 1/2 hours, so I then went to the Pawn Shop (which was closed during the outage) and I got my rings back
They will never leave my finger again!!!!

I dreamed of rainbows last night. Sort of. Yesterday I woke to a "rainbow" on my ceiling. It was very colorful but only 3 colors. I wondered what was causing it and saw the CD the light reflected off of. I just laid there for a few minutes and admired it. I guess I carried that into my dreams lol

Real rant for once.... My neighbours ARE CUTTING DOWN A TREE OR SOME FUCKING SHIT AT EIGHT IN THE FUCKING MORNING!!!!
Can it not wait!????????????? It's one of those houses for retarded people, there's multiple people there ALL DAY AND NIGHT, EVERY FUCKING DAY!
But you have to wake everyone up with a fucking chainsaw at 8:00.... FUCK.

Annnnd yep, they're cutting the tree down, just saw them out my window now.

People fucking piss me off. Perfectly happy, young eucalyptus tree. It wasn't going to fall, it wasn't in the way of ANYTHING.
It provided a nice home for birds which I listened to in the mornings when I woke up early enough.
Just yesterday I heard some baby birds in there.... practicing their songs.... one of them couldn't get it right and kept repeating one section.

Was also really nice having a big tree around, must have been at least 20 metres tall.
FUUCK! Really wish you could get away with murder sometimes.

I despise people who talk the talk, but don't walk the walk! Plus not admitting their own faults and continuing to blame others. Karma won't handle those people well.
Life is to keep on moving and stop with the disgust and wasting energy on something that should be handled better on other terms.

Tommo. I hope you managed to go back to sleep. Poor birdies. My hubby has a partially enclosed breezeway and he pulled me aside the other day and asked what something was at the corner of the walls. I told him it was a birds nest. He said he needed to get rid of it before he had bird poop everywhere. I guilted him into leaving it alone I told him I don't think he'd notice the poop because to call the place enclosed is very exaggerated. Nature is reclaiming the place!

I slept terribly last night. BUT, I had countless awesome dreams. The one I'm raving about, however, is that I flew and I didn't lose control.
It's good to know that, on a subconscious level, it's not my DAUGHTER who caused my anxiety but her actions. I have my rings back, so I'm at peace. I had been worried that I wouldn't feel at peace again until she left home. I'm glad that's not the case.

I don't know why I slept like crap though. I kept tossing and turning; entering and exiting one dream after another after another. It might have been because I glimpsed a wolf spider on my ceiling some time yesterday. I quickly forgot all about him until I went to bed. Then I checked my sheets lol. Even though I checked them, I could've sworn I felt something crawling on me several times. I told myself it was my imagination and to ignore it.

Speaking of things forgotten about... I need to go bring my plants back inside!! Hopefully, they didn't fall over during the night!

Went to a local pet shop to get some more cat food. I also wanted to get a sort of placemat-type thing cause my cat slops her water sometimes. Maybe this isn't actually a common "pet" item, but my parents have one so I assumed so. But I didn't see anything, so I just asked the lady when I brought the food bag up.

She said she had some in clearance, but when we went over it was just one. And TBH it's kinda ugly and I may have inadvertently hesitated when taking it. But I really didn't care; it's going to be covered by food dishes anyway. So I took it it. But (on to my rave) when she rung up the food, she said the placemat was free because it was bent a bit (it had a $0.99 price tag on it).


I don't know why I'm so excited about getting a $1 item for free, but I am.

Just a minor rant: I talked to that super beautiful girl on facebook, just casually about pronouncing her name, coz I was having a dumb joke argument with someone else at work etc. etc. was totally casual about it but get that feeling she thinks it's weird or something.
Ever since high school when ONE girl said I creeped her out, I've been paranoid about being creepy ever since, if I don't know a girl that well.
I even thought it with Lankan girl many times, and kind of round-about asked her if that's what she thought, without actually asking obviously, and it was clear the thought never even entered her mind.
I need to let go of that I think. Besides, if someone *does* think that, it just means they don't like me. No big deal, I know I'm not being intentionally creepy.

Rant, uhm.... Got to a fight with my dad about his divorce. Weird

I walked into my dimly lit room and a wolf spider fell from my ceiling inches from my face I'd bet it was the same one I had forgotten about the other day! Anyhow, he landed on my hair brush so I flicked him to the floor, said sorry and smooshed him.

I had a very productive day. I get my drivers license renewed. *whew* What a pain (but it could have been SO much worse). The change of address papers I had wore useless because they were copies. I didn't have my birth certificate But I keep everything in a passport wallet and the lady asked if it was current and I said yeah, so she said that it counts as both my ID and birth certificate. But I still lacked 2 proofs of residency (seeing how I changed my address to hubby's office). She asked for the cars registration and insurance, so I got out of line to go get them from the car... but I had them in with my passport as well One of the addresses was slightly different (it had a suite listed). Arg. But she asked if I wanted to spend $5. to make the addresses the same.

Then she asked "You're husband's with you in the car?" I said "Nah. That's my son out there." Then she sort of grinned self-consciously and said "We need him to okay his signature on the address change, so... he is in the car waiting for you?"
I love that woman. I finally caught her meaning and told her yes. I signed the paper for him and all worked out well.
Of course, my picture is horrible, but I think it might be a law that all ID's have to look stupid

Then my son and I ate chalupa's then went to his counseling.

I came home to find my daughter and her friend cleaning the house It's been an almost perfect day!

Lol... I'm not scared of the normal spiders. I have some in my house. But I don't want to meet a human-sized spider.

I just downloaded an art program on my android tablet that does amazing lineart, and can import it's projects to Photoshop format!! NO MORE ROUGH BAD LINEART!!!

Out of boredom/curiosity, I pureed some elm samaras and used them in place of pumpkin in a pumpkin bread recipe. It turned out delicious -- I was shocked, haha.
