Please excuse my grammar on here! I really don't have much time to grammar check, today.
I haven't slept well for the past several days. I'm also not feeling too hot at all.
Anyways my mom's cousin, Helen died. They were very close. On Friday night, she had another heart attack and then she died on this past Saturday night.

Okay, this is the thread for this kinda stuff, right?

I’m almost 22 and haven’t been able to score a better job than a cook at a local fast food joint. What makes it worse is that I live in a small town so business is pretty limited, and where I work is the only place that’ll hire high school graduates. I’d get the hell out of this town if I could actually drive too, but I’ve failed every damn test I’ve ever taken. I’m socially awkward, even my only other co-worker hates my guts. I have repressed lust for one of my best friends too; she’s athletic, smart, and a gorgeous southern bell. I love her. You know what it’s like; I’ve been friend zoned real hard. She’s my only best friend, besides this one kid, who I’m pretty sure is only hanging around me because he is mentally challenged. I guess he’s the only one that can tolerate me. And what makes this all worse is that I live in a freaking pineapple under the sea.

Rave: A co-worker needed more hours, so I let him take half of my shift since I thought I would have vacation time to spare. Today, the one that regulates the payroll calls, and tells me that the hours I have are for sick pay. I got worried there for a moment, but when I told her the circumstance with the co-worker, she stated that we'll just assume that I was really sick that day. *Coughccoughacough* yeah, definitely sick that day. I think that whatever justification I had, she would've went through with this either way. What a nice person.

Dunno where this belongs but I may end up having the 1941 Dodge truck my Grandpa owned. It's a project truck though, I won't list all the issues but here are three: 1: It hasn't been run frequently or even infrequently over the 47/48 years he owned it; 2: It has no oil filter (older canister type, bypassed) 3: The manual transmission was leaking oil on the driveshaft, flinging the oil all over the body and frame. Speaking of which, the frame IS in great shape. It's also such an old vehicle that it's simple to work on (or so I imagine) there's not near as much to talk about with the engine as there is in a modern car. No computerized anything, manual choke for the carburetor.

I also sketched Coco Pommel which was nice. I do think I have to accept a lot of failure in this (like my purchase of the Suburban...) before I get any real nice results. That doesn't mean to mess up on purpose of course but I was ridiculously difficult on myself in the past with drawing, even stemming back to before I was three years old. If anyone here didn't know it already I do watch MLP: FIM and sometimes draw the characters from the show in traditional art form.

Oh and does anyone here know the Minutemen? One of my favorite bands, they were around from 1980-1985 when the guitarist died in a car wreck where I heard the rear axle broke... Funny in a way, people thought he'd die from a heart attack because he was fat and frequently hopped around on stage like he was thin. You may have heard one of their songs used as part of the theme to "Jackass", video's from about five weeks before he died:

With all the WV news out there, I just thought I'd check in. My immediate area was virtually untouched by the storms. My county, however, has had a lot of flooding and property loss.
Last week, we lost power for some 12 hours because of a 5-10 minute storm But this last monster did nothing. Go figure. Hubby's basement is flooding, but not enough to justify concern or significant whining.

In other news, I've been chilling in bed for the most part. My knee is still bothering me a lot but not as much as previously. I just can't stand or walk for more than 10 minutes or the swelling and pain return. I can't wait to see the ortho doc in Sept. I figured out HOW I likely hurt my knee. It cramps when I walk and popping it helps. But to pop it, I sort of "slip" my knee and rotate my lower leg while my knee is slipped. (not dislocated, but more subluxed). I never considered what I was actually doing or the damage I was causing. I sublux my shoulders and hips too- but I catch myself doing those and knock it off because doctors told me how bad it was. One of the "joys" of having Ehlers Danlos.

Oh yes. Ginsan thanks for that laugh. I was taking you so seriously and feeling sad for you until I read the very end. Smarty Pants

Bah- now I have to leave home AGAIN, to pick up hotdogs for dinner and then make a store run
I used to LOVE driving. Now it's just turning into such a chore. I can't wait until Paula gets her car. Taxi service at the butt crack of dawn is REALLY wearing me out.

Heh thank you Zhaylin = D I found it after Googling "funniest copypastas" and a copypasta is something people copy and paste randomly on forums, usually a wall of text full of ridiculous stuff or a joke like that one When I read it I laughed out loud for about 15 seconds and I really wanted to post it xD

Rant: The flies and fleas have arrived
I have a small spray bottle with some sort of essential oil in it. I think I also added some almond oil as the carrier and some water. I use it mostly to spritz my room. But when a flea lands on my ankles, I spray it and then the rest of my legs. They don' seem to like it, so I might have found something safer than DEET. AND it smells good

I just got out of the shower where I rescued a tiny "fly". I've seen them off and on throughout the years. I've always known they were not house flies and they've never bothered me. They'll land on your finger if they're trapped, but they generally avoid you. I finally googled them today "bigger than a gnat, smaller than a housefly". Found a chart and turns out these little guys are moth flies/drain flies.
Which explains why I only see them in the bathroom.
And that's a rave. Learned something new

Rant: My power steering went out on the way home from visiting my parents. I was able to get to a repair shop which was somehow still open. They won't be able to look at it until tomorrow and my Dad drove me back to his house until it's fixed.

Rave: I have an excuse not to go to work tomorrow!

So yeah, a week after my girlfriend broke up with me, she had 'meaningless sex' with some random guy. I feel completely worthless right now.

Yet she claims that she still loves me and that she'll do anything to make it work again between us.
All my friends tell me It'd be stupid to just take her back, and I hate myself that I still love her.
I should hate her, but I can't. She's the one who made me feel so loved in the first 4 months we were together And I don't know what to do anymore.

Typed up a full DJ entry, two dreams,two fragments. When i clicked 'post' it said I was logged out. I logged back in and clicked restore auto saved content. Only the first thee sentences I typed were restored.

Rant: I got fired last month, and I have no chance of getting back into the industry. Worse yet, I never belonged there in the first place. Now, I'm facing months or even years of re-education (I'm 26) and will probably have to get by on welfare for a while - WHILE PAYING OFF A MORTGAGE for a house I bought 5 months before I got fired. And those are serious bills, as my salary used to be pretty decent and I pay as much as I can (could). Being an adult *sucks*. I want my money back.

If you clicked back there's a chance that it could have still been present. That happened to me before plenty of times. Its why I select all than copy it to keep it saved just in case.

That happens to me too! It sucks! I try to save my entries all the time to avoid this.
Edited: Rant: This time a few weeks ago, scratched up my side when I fell but, I feel a little better, though. I've been busy..
Last night I only had about 6 dreams with 1 lucid dream but, the night before I had about 11 dreams with 6 lucids. Oh hum.

Well, that was annoying.

Came home from work this morning and the internet wasn't working. Whatever; Windstream sucks and I just went ahead and did my errands for the day. Came home later: still down. Called Windstream, waited 45 minutes, call got disconnected. Called Windstream again, waited 40 minutes, finally got to talk to someone. After 10 minutes he told me it's my modem, and because I chose not to pay an extra $25 month to use their modem he could not help me.

Called Netgear. After spending 10 minutes giving her information, she tells me that because my modem is eight months old, it needs a software update before they could troubleshoot it. The cheapest option--6 months--was $80 some dollars. That's more than what I paid for the damn modem. So I told her no thanks.


Then I finally did what I should have done in the first place. I connected to my modem through the PC. It said I wasn't connected to the internet (duh). So I clicked connect, entered the info, and now I'm connected. Two minute solution dragged out for almost two hours.

edit: never mind
