Rant: I'm headachy today. It's either the weather or sinuses.
      Pretty kitty.

I got walking pneumonia (Because I can walk)Tree pollen storm went astro with the warnig colors up past the orange and red to the blue and purple. prolly where the pneumonia came from..got steroids I never like..nose stuff and Claritin (generic) which I think is the only thing that helped..Dr gave me Rx for them cost 21 dollarinos for 30.. Cost 4.57 for 60 at Walmart.. Took the Rx ones back..
It won't get warm outside, 68 degrees for the future at best.. bought AC just to filter the pollen in the place..

Get better soon Wobly!! It's chilly here today too. Or, at least, in my room it is lol. I keep wanting to turn the temp up but then it'll get too hot. So I guess I'll just put on a long-sleeved shirt
I never cared for Claritin (generic doesn't work for me so there's no way I'm paying for the named stuff ) Good 'ole Benadryl helps most of my allergy complaints. It does make me sleepy though, which is why I only take it before bed.

My chest is hurting more frequently. I'm 95% sure it's just gas. I worry about that other 5% though. I see my Dr. next month, so I'll be sure to ask her about it.
Rant: That pretty kitty is in her death throes She was completely fine. A little diarrhea but nothing extreme. I'm fairly desensitized about cat deaths at this point in time. Loosing her is going to be really tough on my eldest though. He really liked her.

Rant: I'm back to taxi servicing The girls were driving to work today and the speed dropped to 20mph going up the mountain and it was shaking so much they feared the tires would fly off, so they called me to follow them home. They were halfway to work I got them home... then took them to work.
They still owe $600. on the car. The man sold it to them with no guarantee but said there was no major problems with it. I'm not sure how they should proceed. I told them to just take it back and eat the $1,000. they've already paid. Paula wants to pay the balance and use it as a trade-in for something better. But who would accept it?

Rant: My toes have been hurting since Sunday night. We went out to eat with hubby's daughter. The food was very rich and I had a few bites of Cod and Crab something-or-other. I've also been running a little more dehydrated than usual.
They're still just a 4-6 on the pain/annoyance scale, so it's no intolerable yet. Hopefully, staying hydrated and avoiding bad food will let the Vitamin B do it's thing.

Rant: My room's a friggin pigsty (sp) but I have no motivation to clean it. I have no motivation to finish my fanny pack... I have no motivation to play my games or read or study or friggin anything. I might just go back to bed, but I'm not sure I'm motivated enough to even do that

Rant: DV is being SOOOOOOO slow.

Rant: My toes are not back to a consistent 6/7 on the pain/annoyance scale (when they don't hurt, they're cramping and annoying me to the point I have to pop them which causes pain rofl)

Rave: I discovered the joys of using an AUX cord and listening to JW podcasts while taxiing.

Rave? I took 300mg Gabapentin last night before bed. Seems to work okay. My Dr. wanted me to take 200mg at breakfast or to space it if it made me sleepy. Spacing it made me too sleepy or I'd just forget the second dose.
Ppl take insane doses so 300mg at once is no big deal.
But sure enough, it knocked my butt out and I didn't need the Benadryl and Cyproheptadine. And I still woke before my alarm

      Have a great day everyone.

Come on, people. This isn't my blog

I am very not well. I spent almost all day yesterday in bed. I wasn't sleeping, I was just freezing... and then I was burning up... and then I was freezing

I also started my period 4 days early yesterday. That explains the total lack of motivation. I mean, yeah, I'm lazy. But when I'm too lazy to game or watch shows something's REALLY not right lol.

I finally fell asleep at 1:30 AM and woke at 6:30. I had to rush to the restroom, turn on the water at the main (laundry room), wait for the tank to fill, flush, turn the main off, take the puppy outside........ and then I felt as though someone gut punched me, my ears started ringing, my vision started grading at the edges, I felt like passing out. I grabbed my BP machine. Huh... not quite right but not vagal vasal (or is that vise versa?) 129/91 pulse 91.

I got back under the covers, laid back, took it again: 137/90 pulse 81.
Alrighty then Figured I may just be hungry then, even though I drank a large strawberry milk before sleeping. I chugged some ice cold Coke. I got on my iPad to google Gabapentin and Benadryl combined but DV came up. Now I'm feeling a bit better. Some pressure in my ears still so if I was to get out of bed, I'd get light-headed again.

Stupid body or brain, always falling apart.

I wore my Fitbit around my wrist instead of my ankle last night. I was curious if my sleep results would change. They changed all right! For the worst though, which I was not expecting. From 1:30-6:30, I got the equivalent of 1 1/2 hours of sleep

Now I'm off to try to get some actual zzzzzz's before taxi service begins.

Heh, I too spent the morning in the doctors office for pneumonia mostly brought on by the goddam pollen.
While I was sitting there an aide came out leading a big, old man.He looked confused as if maybe he had suffered a stroke some time in the past..as the aide talked to the receptionist he stood humbly beside her leaning on the counter and blew a tremendous fart so long and loud it sounded like a locomotive rumbling by.. He just looked confused and stumbled to a chair to wait for her and I thought..
"Oh-God if only I could fart like that I wouldn't even need a doctor"

ROFL Poor old guy. Sometimes, I wish for his ability too... though, in the secrecy of my bedroom lol.
I hope you kick pneumonia's butt soon

Rave: I managed to get a little more sleep but still felt slightly off as I took my daughter to work. I popped a caffeine pill on the way home. I was going to be danged if I spent all day in bed again.
And, sure enough, I actually had a somewhat productive day. I got a teensy portion of my room cleaned. I also, did indeed, manage to stay out of bed. A tremendous achievement

Rave: A teensy tiny bug fell from a roll of TP earlier. I caught him from the corner of my eye and searched for him on the floor. I didn't hesitate to pick the little guy up. It was a praying mantis; perhaps as big as the sharpened point of a pencil. I've never seen one so small before. I took him outside to my plant.

Rant: Yet another kitten is dying I found him in the yard and thought the puppy got ahold of him. I picked the kitten up and he bit the tip of my thumb quite forcefully. I laid him at the edge of some tall grass to be in peace. After informing my kids, so they could stand guard with the other kittens, my eldest told me he had seen the kitten earlier in the day and he looked sickly- that the puppy wasn't to blame.... which means the rest (4) will probably follow suit shortly.

Rant: While eating with my hubby I had a slight light-headedness attack again. What the heck........ and now I have to get ready to taxi...

Rant: Got turned down by two grocery stores and the pet store for not having prior work experience. Haven't heard back from that guy who offered the job on craigslist. I applied online to the convenience store four days ago and haven't heard back. I did get an email response from a guy who I applied to back in the end of april, though. Getting a job or getting a girlfriend; what requires more sucking up to stupid formalities, pretending to be someone you're not, and being rejected for things out of your control? Right now; I'd defiantly say the former.

Rave-Rant: Alrighty the loads and loads of loading have been fixed, but everything else is still broken. I hope the rest of the repairs get made. Dreamviews has a working engine once more, but none of the bells and whistles are working.

Rave: My times are getting a lot better. Think it's time I stretch my route again. So long as I'm not getting any job; might as well take the opportunity to get in good shape. Goodbye pudge.

Rant: My phone crashed during an update and I had to re-install everything; including the fitbit app. I've been trying to set up my fitbit to track my running times. Though I think that's about the only time I'd use it. It's kinda creepy how these fitbits can track what you eat and how much you sleep and upload that data onto a cloud server where presumably anyone could find it.

Woohoo! DV is loading MUCH better!
If worse comes to worse, Jade, write in a friends name as a reference for job experience.

      Bah! Gotta taxi, BBL...

      **EDIT**
      I am finally back.
As soon as I got home I had to deal with a pest problem:
      Spoiler for Spider:

He was a big one! He let me bandaid a quarter beside him (no tape rofl), but that pic was terrible. When I tried to get him into a box, he dropped to the floor where there's water damage (thus the soggy cereal box).
Rave: Mr. Ginormous is safely outside.

Rant: I found a true cockroach in the house today I got very out of character, though, picked him up and threw him out the open bathroom window (which is how he probably got inside).
I didn't want to kill him because there's a moth that looks almost identical.... even though this one didn't have the "frayed" wings of the moth, I've killed so many (errr... 3) by mistake that I didn't want to risk it.
So, rave, I didn't get the heebie jeebies afterwards I'd rather be in a room full of snakes than a room full of roaches, so this was a HUGE deal for me

Rave: I managed to get 9 hours worth of sleep last night (11:30PM-9AM but with a great deal of tossing and turning).
For that, I do love my Fitbit. I don't worry about things being posted to the ether or people harvesting my data. I'm a very boring person with almost no money.

RANT: Another kitten was dead in the yard the other day... the puppy was over it and the kittens face..... I'd rather not think of the kittens face. There was a very curious lack of blood though, which furthers me thinking the puppy comes across them after they're dead.
Rave: 2 cats and 2 kittens are going to a shelter tomorrow. The others will slowly be finding their way to others.

Rant: Cinebox is STILL down. It was down all weekend but a patch should be coming out tonight.

      Hope you're feeling better, Wobly

I haven't been on here for ages but I seriously need to rant right now.

So I'm in my first year of uni and I still have three exams left before this year is over. But unfortunately I won't be able to do those exams.
Because for the past few weeks, I've been feeling quite ill. The symptoms are so weird. I feel pain in my arms and legs, like the pain seems to come from my muscles.
And then I also have this burning feeling in my hands and feet? So now I have a few scans and tests coming up and I'm genuinely so scared. The doctor is gonna test me for all sorts of diseases like multiple sclerosis and things like that. At first I thought it was something silly, but I'm starting to get worried that there might be something seriously wrong with me.

Crashyy! So glad to see you, Stranger! Sorry to hear you're still having health issues though
Get better soon. Maybe you can take make-up exams if it's for health reasons?

No real rants here... it's just cold, so I'm enjoying my heater

Rant-ish: I have two ulcers on my lower left gums. I cannot leave them alone. Pressing on them causes pleasant pain but I'm irritating them so thoroughly it looks as if I was hit in the mouth lol

Rant: I now have to take my daughter to work. Blah.
      Hope everyone is well.

      **EDIT**
I've been craving ice; been freezing; my BP and pulse have been unusually high. I considered things different in my life: Gabapentin at bedtime; strawberry milk at bedtime; Vitamin B. At first I thought it was was Gab... but I've been on it forever so I don't see it suddenly being a problem even with the way I divide the doses. It shouldn't be the milk. That just doesn't make sense lol.
So, tonight I googled the vitamin. Sounds like that very well may be the culprit.

Blah. I've had fewer problems with my toes, but I'm going to skip it for a week and see if my pressure goes down. It's strange that B should cause such problems
      But I'm curious now

I could also just be getting old and my sedentary lifestyle may be catching up with me.

This blood pressure has got to go though. I've been having killer headaches because of it.

Rave: Starbound updated today, so I got to play around with the new Mech and explore some new content.

Rave: talked to my youngest on FT tonight.

Rave: tomorrow, my daughter is paying me back for the gas I've put into the car. It's only about $40. but every bit counts. (Errrr, she's paying me back today as it's after midnight.)

Rave: My Smurfs Village game on the iPad updated today too. There's a new building but it costs "smurfberries". I'll collect them from my "wonders", so I won't have to pay real money for them. It'll just take longer to get them (1 smurfberry per Wonder per week... I probably have close to 30 wonders though so it'll add up quickly)

Time for sleep. Sweet dreams, DV.

Rave: I showed hubby my mouth and he finally broke down and gave me 2 silver nitrate sticks I used it, and *gag* I had almost forgotten how absolutely disgusting it tastes
Hopefully, the sore will clear up a lot faster....... and I can continue using the sticks for pimples and bug bites. You have no idea how happy that makes me rofl.
I had a cyst on my chin several years ago. It was driving me batty so I jabbed a stick against the area (not really expecting much) and the cyst has never returned. Silver Nitrate sticks are first among "miracle drugs" IMHO (Provigil is #1).

Other than that... it's been a usual day. After breakfast (Lucky Charms), my BP and pulse were 149/98 111 (My normal is 115/76-ish). I didn't take the Vit. B today, so after about 3 days (if that) I should know if that's the culprit or not.
Starbound is still laggy as heck at times, but I've been enjoying the Mech. Space travel is going to take some getting used to though.

And Monday is right around the corner. For those with a good PC and some money to play with, I cannot recommend 7 Days to Die enough. A16 unstable *should* drop on Monday. It's a zombie/survival/crafting/sandbox game and with some 3 years and 2,000+ hours, I'm still not bored.
Once A16 stable comes out, I'm going to rent a server again for MP. I am SUPER PSYCHED! I've never enjoyed a game as much as 7D2D.

Oh yeah, heh, I'm already up to 40 smurfberries. Several Wonders were ready last night. In 3 days (when the rest are ready) I'll have the 45 needed for the new content.
It's a great time to be a gamer

Smack me upside the head the next time I mention "pleasurable pain"
My mouth hurt SOOOOO much last night. Then it dawned on me. I had taken NO ibuprofen or Tylenol which would have saved so much agony
My mouth still hurts today... except now the wound is 2 times as large and raw because of the "chemical burn"
It is taking all of my willpower not the press on it.

      Gah!

Last night, one of my Coke's had frozen as had my Strawberry milk. I put 2 new cokes in the fridge and they were both frozen this morning I turned down the temp but what the heck? The temp hasn't moved for months, why is stuff now suddenly freezing.

Rant: Cinebox still isn't working properly.

Rave: I don't have to taxi today

My mouth is still miserable I broke down and bought some Orajel and some medicated mouthwash. That mouthwash was SO disgusting.... yet so wonderful lol. I almost spat it out as soon as it was in my mouth. It was thick... and FOAMING?! I read the ingredients and it has peroxide in it I think it made my mouth feel even more better than the orajel. I just hope it lasts.
My blood pressure is still up (159/99 116), so I'm back on the Vit.B Something else must be doing it. Perhaps it's just from this mouth sore? (I also have a slight earache and an enlarged lymph node on the same side). (wouldn't that be nice) Hubby gave me some blood pressure meds.
I need to call my Dr's tomorrow to see when my appointments are. They should be coming right up.

Rave: 7D2D A16Exp came out on Saturday, so I've been playing around with it. Tonight though, my mouse got uber buggy. Even after I exited the game and restarted my machine. I'm going to try another of my ports and see if I have another one just going bad. But how the heck can they go bad? It's a wireless doodad so nothing's ever pulling on it or anything. I ran Spybot and Malwarebytes and everything's good there. Everything's up to date as well.
Maybe it's time to take it back to the shop to have a once over.

Rant: Spiders keep dropping on my head at night And I can't identify them which makes it worse. They're not Wolves or Jumpers and nothing notoriously dangerous. One of them "bit" my arm twice when I accidentally rested it on one.. but it didn't leave any sort of mark (felt more like an arm hair being pulled- not quite a bite or a sting).

Rant: I have to drive my DIL to the hospital for a surgery in 6 hours I pick her up afterwards, then take my daughter to work, yadda yadda. I'd like to stay up all night and game, but I'm broken I was ready for sleep 3 hours ago.

Rant: They're schedules changing again... 10AM-6PM (ish) They truly need to hurry up and fix their car. I am SO done with driving them. My poor car has put on 6k+ miles.

Rant: I'm lonesome in RRCaC. People need to get back here and keep me company

Rant: At some point in time, the power went off. I figured it was from weather. We were supposed to get thunderstorms yesterday, and even though I didn't hear anything (I was sound asleep) I figured that must've been it.
Later on, I woke and left my room and was hit by the smell. I smelled it last night but wrote it off as bleach And then Paula confronted me for help. An outlet in their bedroom burned up. Completely black like the one in my bedroom last year. A status from Paula was posted 4 hours ago... 5AM is when it happened. We could have all burned to death. They only woke because the AC went off... which is one of the main reasons I woke.
Great. Another room in the house is now unusable because of these weird outlet fires.

Rant: My mouth is still killing me... but to a lesser degree. I keep myself from deviling it (for the most part) during the day, but I keep waking myself up because I'm pressing on it. What the heck? Why the compulsion? The wound is bigger now with SIGNIFICANT swelling. I looked in a mirror last night. I'm not compelled to press on the wound itself, but the swelling and edges.

Rant: Last night, I hung up my lounging pillow, checked for spiders, fixed my pillows and laid down for sleep. Then I noticed the tag on my blanket was wrong. It was at my chest instead of my feet. I turned the light on so I could fix it.... and on the wall right behind my head was a small spider that looked suspiciously like a Black Widow. I got her into an empty pill bottle and I shook it a little so I could see her belly, but she never did comply lol. I knocked her out the bathroom window.
And earlier in the day, my daughter screamed for me. There was a spider on the crack between the shower and the door... it looked too much like a Brown Recluse.
I swear, my house is trying to kill all of us (that spider went out the bathroom window too )

Rant: My back has been hurting since yesterday I almost fall when I get out of bed or when I move certain ways because the spasm is intense and sudden. Okay, body... just one pain at a time please.

Rant: Hubby wants to go with my when I drop my daughter off at work. There's an amazing Steak House in the area. The Filet Mignon sandwich is the best anywhere. With this mouth sore though, how the heck am I supposed to enjoy it? It's also messing with my carefully crafted morning routine. I always eat soggy cereal when I wake so I can take my morning meds and pain killers. I don't eat again until around 4-7, then I have strawberry milk before bed (so I can take my bed meds and pain killers)... now I'm not going to be able to take my meds until 2 this afternoon which also means I'm going to be in pain until then (can't take them on an empty stomach).

Rave: 7D2D is absolutely amazing and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I wasn't sure I'd like the new skill and perk system but it's almost perfect.

Hope everyone out in DV is doing well. I miss y'all here.

Those trailers have the best wiring possible but!..They also have the cheapest absolute shit for outlets..You need to have a QUALIFIED person go thru and replace every outlet in it..Preferably with 20 amp outlets..That does not mean you need an electrician but someone experienced with installing outlets on 12 gauge wiring, It is more difficult than most household wiring which is a lighter 14 gauge..
Get and maintain smoke alarms and good luck

Thanks. Paula has a friend who owns an apartment complex and he does a lot of his work and hires out for what he can't. He came over and said it was an electricians wet dream to figure out how we did not die last night. The room that blew the outlet was actually an unoccupied room that's being used as storage. There was a box right next to the outlet... and the room itself is filled with boxes, old appliances, broken furniture etc.
My hubby can't figure it out either. The breaker is supposed to flip off before that stuff happens.
Her friend cut off power to that room, left, then an outlet in the girls room started sparking
We'll definitely start replacing them, per your advice and look into some detectors. There's not a one in the house.

I asked Paula to ask her friend who he uses. I'll put them in touch with my hubby and perhaps we'll start getting some improvements done. The back of the house is mostly unusable because of burst pipes and water damage. (The main is shut off when we're not using it, but a surprising amount of water accumulates when doing laundry or taking a shower etc.)

Rave: I had my cereal for breakfast AND ate a steak sandwich for lunch. I'm feeling fat but extremely satisfied lol.
Then I came home and cleaned out my bird cage.
Guess what my pulse was from that tiny bit of work..... 126
Now to tackle the rest of my room.... Getting rid of the clutter will likely get rid of a lot of the spiders.

Pneumonia is better but the pollen count is still in the red out there making life miserable for older folks!
I bought a new 8000 btu "Haier" AC last month, First time I used it was last weekend, NOISY! it sounds like a helicopter on reading reviews every one of a dozen said "Noisy" It kept me awake in the next room with the door closed.. I went directly to Walmart online and bought an "8000 btu Emerson Quiet Cool" though this one works good, It runs about 8 minutes per hour to keep the Apt at 73 when it's 90 degrees outside...It's main purpose is to eliminate Pollen..
It'came in today and will pick it up tomorrie and the caretaker will put it in on Sat with only 5 days left to return this one to Walmart.
      Otherwise..Life's Good

Clutter is a killer and a great hiding place for "BUGS"
I am presently engaged in a throwathon..Nothing left on the floor..Everything off the floor somehow! Preferably on rollers so I can clean under it and suck up all those pretty "SPIDERS"

Have you tried those air purifier machines? Or are they a crock?
I have an AC in my tiny room. I like the noise lol (at first I didn't and it's not overly loud). Some days, I have it set at the highest temp (86) just for air circulation but not cooling. Lately though, it's been on 65 with the fan at the highest setting lol. These 87 degree outside temps need to go

My hubby pays one of our neighbors to mow the yard. He's been neglecting the side of the house for way too long. The grass and weeds are almost up to the bathroom window. I think a lot of insects are coming in because of the over-growth. It also doesn't help that none of the windows have screens and we leave them open (as well as the front door) almost year-round

I love the idea of your throwathon!!

Rant-ish: My mouth ulcer is driving me bonkers to the max this morning. But it's healing and shrinking in size.

Rant-ish: Today is Friday. I should have the weekend off from taxiing, but my daughter starts her new schedule and goes in to work on Sunday.... at 10AM-6:30PM Now, I'm going to have to acclimate and get used to waking up even earlier. Blah. She now has Tuesday and Wednesday off.

Rave-ish: I finally found the source of the moldy smell that occasionally strikes. I reuse water jugs for the animals. I keep one beside my desk. All of the carpet has been ripped out of my room except for 2 areas I couldn't be buggered with because it's under furniture. The water jugs keep springing leaks and the carpet sucks it up. I guess I need to invest in a metal jug or bucket for their water. But wouldn't the water taste weird if it's stored in metal?

Rave-ish: Hubby's frugal (ahem- cheap) as heck. He's going to buy a bunch of outlets for the house and show me how to go about replacing them. I have a bunch of work coming up but I'm excited to have it done. I watched him replace the one in my bedroom and it doesn't seem overly complicated. I just have to remember, especially, to turn off the breaker entirely before I get to work. I wonder if he secretly has a life insurance policy out on me

I think the HEPA filter thing is a crock!
Next, Tell him (Being cheap) to buy "20 AMP" outlets..They have a tee slot on one side. 15 AMP outlets with 20 AMP breakers and 20 AMP (12 gauge) wire are the weak link in the chain and can burn up before tripping the breaker.. Next! Does your hubby even know how to install an outlet properly?.. If not I will give you instructions ...

PS: And 87 is cold compared to what's coming

Thank you for all your help I passed all your info on to hubby. He bought a bunch of good outlets when he was having his garage built, so he's going to pass them on to me.
He was impressed that you know your stuff. Hubby's a jack-of-all-trades.

Oh, and bite your tongue with all that 'worse than 87 degrees' crud If it gets any worse I'll never leave my room. I do NOT like warm months anymore.
But, in truth, I don't like overly cold months either lol. I love Winter and the snow but mostly because it kills all the bugs. When I get cold, my body tenses and I get instant body and headaches SO, I like the cold.... but from the comfort of my warm room
If the world was my room, I'd live in constant (so long as it was also bug free) 65-75 degree weather with a nice cool breeze.

Rant: My ulcer shrinkage was a lie yesterday. The lighting must have been off. My mouth was killing me last night. I checked for fever. Meh. My temp is normally 97.3 but last night it was 98.7. Not likely an indication of infection. The swelling around the ulcer is what's giving me the most grief though. I'm constantly poking and pushing on it. So, last night, I gave in and lanced the swelling. I made the teensiest of cuts then "drained" it (there wasn't really an accumulation of fluid though, so I actually just bled it lol). Today, I feel 90% better. I also figured out, last night, how I probably got the wound in the first place. I was starting to fall asleep and "jumped" awake. When I did, I also bit down very hard
I need to get over myself and take my upper dentures out when I sleep. The would eliminate THAT problem.

      BUT:
      1) There are no true working sinks in the house. All the plumbing is either completely busted or the sinks are leaky so the water was disconnected. Except for in the kitchen. The faucets are busted though so we have to turn the water on under the sink with pliers (because the knobby thing also broke). Needless to say, I never use the kitchen sink. I brush my teeth in the shower. I soak my uppers while I shower. I'm a tiny bit vain. I don't see myself running through the house in the wee hours without any teeth but I'd have to if I soaked them in a cup beside me bed. I cringe even writing this rofl.
      2) I hyper-extend my jaw. If there are no teeth to hinder me doing so, I'd look like a 100 year old woman but worse. Except that looking like would become intense TMJ because I'd be that way in my sleep.

I'm beginning to consider a new jaw and dental implants. Sounds like a whole lot of pain and I have no idea how much those things would cost.

Other than that, life is quiet and nice.

Oh. A philosophical (?) question. What do people do to find fulfillment in their lives? Especially if they work the grind to make ends-meet? Especially if they despise their job? What is it that makes people need to feel fulfilled? Is it ambition? How do housewives find it? I understand people's need to feel needed and wanted and fulfilled. I get it. But I don't think I've ever felt that drive which seems really weird and kind of sad to me. I simply strive to feel peace and contentment and do 75-100% of the time. How can I feel that way when my house is falling down around me, I have weird health problems and my family obligations drive me bananas? How is it I can still feel contentment and peace and don't feel compelled to better myself, my environment or my situations? Even when I'm having adrenaline surges from my wonky anxiety or sensory overload I feel at peace (which is one reason I scoff so fiercely at being labeled as having anxiety). It just seems weird and I feel broken.

I spoke of this while eating with hubby the other day, and with complete sincerity, he said: 'That's what makes being around you so absolutely wonderful. You're not demanding or greedy.......' I can see how that would be very good for him (being Mr.Frugal ) But I can't shake the feeling that something's wrong with me.
Yes, I'm a people pleaser and mediator. I do everything within my power to suck it up and be happy with my lot in life if it means keeping chaos at bay. I know how to read people and situations and act accordingly. It would be easy to say, I don't even know. I lost my train of thought Ah, it would be easy to say I'm just putting on a happy face to please other people etc. But I'm actually very selfish. I want to be provided for and play video games all day. I'm like a kid who never had to grow up. Do kids have that need to feel fulfilled? Would I still love and be with my hubby if we had to live together or he had to retire or I had to find a job or if he gets sick and I have to take care of him?
That makes me sad that I don't automatically know.

Blah. Enough deep thoughts for one day. Time to go slay some zombies....

Rant: I am SOOOOO sleepy today. I had to take a 5-hr Energy to make it home after dropping off my daughter at work. I'm curious to see what it does to my blood pressure.
Rant: DV is being slow again.
      Rant: I'm freezing.

Rave: I'm freezing because it is POURING down rain and I got wet. I'll live with it because I absolutely love rain storms I fish-tailed a couple times it's that flooded out. I still love it.
Rave: I successfully changed out one of the outlets yesterday. It was a MAJOR PITA... and I put it in upside down I couldn't be buggered with taking it apart and redoing it, so I just flipped it. I tugged a wee too hard on the cord (while cutting and stripping the wires) and tore up some of the drywall, so I couldn't get the infernal thing to stay put, so I duct taped the outlet onto the wall. Very shoddy work, but it's done and functional. It took nearly 1 1/2 hrs to do the one. I'm not going to tackle the other outlets until I have wire strippers. That's what slowed me down so much this time.

Rave-ish: I'm stuck with taxi duty for 3 more weeks. I gave the girls a dead-line to have their car functional. Hubby's shut down week is then and we might go away and do something so they have to have their own transportation by then.

Gah. I think I might go snuggle beneath my covers and take a nap....

      **EDIT**
What the heck? I ended up watching a show then getting on my game. I continued to feel cold and sleepy as well as nauseated with a slight headache, so I laid down. I took my BP: 149/100 pulse of 84
Why the sudden BP weirdness? And why do I feel headachy and nauseated when it goes up? People normally don't get those symptoms unless it's insanely high.

Another rant-ish is that I silver nitrated my mouth again last night. My mouth feels much better (for now ) but I somehow managed to color the outside corner of my mouth and well as both index fingers my fingertips are charcoal colored but I never touched the tip of the stick with them. They're not burned at all or sore or anything- just discolored. Nitrate makes you slobber to the extreme while applying, so perhaps it's secondary transfer from that.
I might have to break down and see a Dr sooner rather than later. I finally found my appointment cards. I don't see my primary until August

      Blah.

I broke down and went to the Dr yesterday afternoon. He just ran some blood work, looked at the ulcer and prescribed a beta-blocker. He didn't like my BP or my pulse. I laughed and said my pulse has always been insane, but the BP is new.
I took the new med before sleep, had some chest pain and got weirded out (even though I was 98% certain it was gas), and still managed to sleep better than I have in a long time.
The new med is doing really well for my pulse... only meh for my BP (my bottom number still concerns me- last reading was 117/95 pulse of 82)
I turned to Google last night. Both Cymbalta and Gabapentin can cause a rise in blood pressure. That, and aging, is likely the reason for the change.

Rant: I'm up to 150 pounds I need to start walking again.
