lol, Wobly. It was only 1 piece (out of 3) because they burned it I didn't feel like making a fuss, so I just rolled with it. I figured the dogs would like it lol

Rant: I had 3 very specific things to get at Walmart yesterday: toilet paper, applesauce, allergy meds. I managed to forget all three items

Rant: I have a very strange rash on my left shoulder. It's small, crescent shaped and made up of teeny tiny blisters that ooze. Hubby said it reminds him of poison ivy. I have no idea what it's from but it's driving me bonkers.

Rave: I discovered La Croix sparkling water. The flavor I chose isn't the best in the world, but it's okay. Better than the Deer Park stuff I was buying at any rate.

      Enjoy your holiday, everyone

      Rant:

I had the option to sublet with a friend until I saved up to live on my own or to come with family and help them out again with moving since one of them was laid off. I chose the latter, and as much as I want to be optimistic about it, and how there’s a restaurant a relative of mine can finally start working in, it really is a little bothersome having to reset everything all over again. This will be the twelfth time, so I shouldn’t really be too surprised, but I hope this time, I can be financially secure to find a place to live and start a family in the coming years. I just can’t understand how people can’t separate their ego from their working persona.

It’s unfortunate that some of the benefits I had at work, especially a stock program I was just a few months in being fully vested, and such will mean nothing. Hopefully, I can go back to Texas someday, but I should probably take the advantage that this state I’m in now will have a lower cost of living even though the state income tax probably just makes the experience the same. If I did live by myself in Texas, I would’ve been fine living in a studio apartment, but if I couldn’t make ends meet somehow, I would’ve been screwed. So, I guess it’s good to be with family, and now that one relative can start working, perhaps I can spread out my goals, and take the casual route.

It really disgusts me when I tell myself that I would have to be okay with the casual route. All of that energy and hard work is just a fading memory, but, I’m starting to really chew the advice I theoretically wanted to give to myself now on self-progression. There is some solace in the fact that no matter which state I seem to move to here in the USA, the living experience is conceptually the same with some nuances. Working at a family restaurant is quite interesting, but, it’s just a placeholder until I find other jobs.

This will make planning out finishing whatever degree I wanted to pursue a little more difficult, but I guess it’s good I was building work experience rather than fearing that half-way in my education, that I would have to worry about transfer credits, and the other aspects of choreographed education. Stacking onto these thoughts, at the end of the day, I never really developed a bond with others because I always structured that I would be moving in some way in life regardless. It’s just that the time and effort to justify to those people who think I loathe them or are apathetic towards them is too late. But, I wouldn’t have done it otherwise since it’s just exhausting emotions needlessly.

I’ve been going months without keeping up my dream journal. I guess I realized the impact of the experiential learning my friend gave me when they came to the revelation that it’s time to stop dreaming and to focus on all what comes at you in life. However, the threshold of wit to tolerate this negligence of not dream journaling actively is analogous to trying to stagnate something beautiful that happens in our nightly sleep.

Too many chances to do certain things, but only so much time and limits with my physicality to be satisfied. It can be mind-boggling when we realize how the mind future-proofs for almost every fathomable thing within our own competency, and yet still be paralyzed at times on whether or not this course of action is pragmatic in the long run. But, with more shouldering of responsibilities of the people I care about, or rather, the close-knit group of 1-2, I guess I go from there and start mapping out a new horizon once more.

      Complaint:

      Bitcoin.

Holding, or for those that are cognizant of the trend, “hodling”, is quite an interesting experience. These few anecdotes of those that got lucky and rich make me feel that if more experience that sudden augmentation of money on them gets chalked up to whether or not materialistic clinging can ease off the burdens in life. I’m not talking about making ends meet, but what to do with that sense of liberation. Still going to grip tightly to whatever I invested a few months ago, and just hope for the best.

Doesn’t seem like a complaint, but the idea that it feels like a long, drawn-out lottery really tests how we like to imagine what we would do if we had a decent fortune.

I finally got around to reinstating my avatar. Also I changed my signature to reflect a much more relaxed and less click-bait orientated stance.
Anyway, Christmas was pretty good! Lots of tasty food. I don't think my mother particularly liked my presents. I got her a bunch of gifts that revolve around elephants because she loves them. I got her elephant ornaments, an elephant table cloth, elephant pillow covers, etc. (You may think this is excessive but the whole house is filled with elephants, and she the only thing she really enjoys is home decor.) Anyway, she didn't say thanks or anything when she received the gifts and before she walked away she said something about elephants that didn't have their trunks up being bad luck. I looked it up online and apparently there's a superstition that unless the elephant depicted has its trunk up it's bad luck. It's not something I considered, but she's pretty heavily into superstitions and her religion, so yeah. The funny thing though is that I looked around the house and I found at least five examples of elephants with their trunks down anyway? So go figure. It's a shame she didn't like her gifts I suppose, so what can you do. Anyway, I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.

Link. Sorry your goals and ideas got sidetracked... for the time being. It's good to help and build up family so long as y'all can stand each other lol (I'd be homeless before even thinking about moving back in with my folks or brother or sister or....)
As for dreams, I get that too. No one else really understands why I love remembering my dreams so much. That used to bother me and make me question myself (when I was a teen). Now-a-days, if I can't remember my dreams, I spend most of the day feeling like I'm forgetting something important.
(As for the double post, it's a weird glitch. You get around it by using the "Go Advance" option instead of the Quick Reply.)

Yuppie, glad you had a good Christmas but I'm sorry your mom didn't like her gifts
I've yet to fix my avatar, lol. One of these days

Rant-ish: Went out for a walk with the dogs. 17 degrees after the wind chill. There was way too much ice on the road and shoulder. I nearly slipped several times. We only made it to the Hardees building. Keirra was very happy to be home. I took her leash off half way up the driveway and she bolted to the house. The pup didn't seem to mind one bit.

Rave: Hubby gave me some mad money tonight. I can now buy my e-cig hybrid, the tool kit and all the fixings to start making my own coils.

RAGE: Miley just now came to my room to tell me we had ANOTHER electric outlet catch fire while I was on my walk Lovely...

      **EDIT**
Rave: Just reloaded an avatar. I found it on a very old webpage of mine I stumbled across the other day.
Extra Rave: DV works in Chrome for me once again. I can finally stop using IE (DV was the ONLY thing I used it for )

Zhaylin: E-cigarettes? Did you use to smoke cigarettes?
I'm planning on quitting smoking on the 1st of January as part of my new years resolutions. I'm not looking forward to it hahaha.
I just kind of somehow ended up smoking at some point during university. It's incredibly easy to get hooked into. All the stress of exams and studying and writing assignments, and EVERYONE smokes at uni.

Good luck! I've been a smoker over 10 years now (started super young) and it's so tough. I've recently gotten free patches and gum and e-vapors or whatever. Florida gives out free patches and gum so that's how I got my first batches of those. The gum really irritates my mouth and throat.
How are you going to go about it? Any aids like the gum etc? any Apps to keep progress?

Nah when I've quit in the past I just quit cold turkey. It sucks for the first 48 hours but then you pretty much just get over it. I'm not a big fan of the philosophy of replacing one method of receiving your drug fix with another. If it works for other people then that's great, it's just not really my style. I find that the biggest factor in quitting is that you simply have to have the will power and the legitimate desire to stop. If that's there then you're golden. It sounds silly and it is of course a simplification, but all you have to do to quit smoking is quit smoking. If you say no every time you have that craving (and endure 30 seconds of being uncomfortable) then you've already won. Typically where I fail is when university starts back up and I'm around all my friends that smoke and exam stress starts piling up, etc. But this time I feel will be different. There's a bunch of other stuff I'm trying to improve on at the moment, and I'm considering my journey to quit smoking as kind of tangible to all my other goals. It'll be like a demonstration to myself of my dedication to improve. But hey, only time will tell how I go.

      Rant:

Kidney stones seem to be coming in and I am worried the fuck out. My dad got kidney stones not 5 years ago and he still remarks about how much pain he had trying to get them to pass. And here I am, with my obscenely worse diet, almost unable to stand up correctly. This is gonna be a tough one...

Hopefully I can hold out until tomorrow to go to the doctor's office and maybe get something that can pulverize it into nice grains of sand.

Good luck on that new years resolution yuppie, tis a good yin!

I've given up smoking a few times for varying lengths of time. Cold turkey worked just fine for me. Then vaping became really big, now that's my go-to stop smoking tool. Which I'll be going back to soon. I just love all the flavours, it's way better than fags.

EDIT: Jdoggad: damn man that sucks hard. Good luck with that

Oh yeah, did I ever smoke. I started when I was about 12. By the time I was 18, I was smoking upwards of 4 packs a day.
I quit for 8 years. I started with the patch, but it annoyed me that I was replacing one thing with another, so I stopped and hibernated for a week (I was on a trip out of State).
Then life and bad choices threw me a BUNCH of crap and drama, so I picked my "old friend" back up. I was back to 4 packs a day in no time.
When I was finally ready to quit again, I couldn't. Willpower didn't do anything for me, lol, neither the patches nor Chantix (or whatever it's called).

Then I picked up vaping. I started with the ones they sell at gas stations, with the unscrewable tops that you add liquid to, as well as Blu. Those irritated me. Quality control was all over the place. Then I got a Volcano brand e-cig and it was wonderful until the company sold out and quality control went to pot. After that, I got my first "mod". It was an e-leaf and I loved it.
Now, I've "evolved" some more and I want to start building my own coils because they're less expensive and work better.
Over the 3 years or so I've been vaping, I've dropped my nic down from 18 to 10mg. "Throat hit" is very essential for me and the less nicotine, the less hit you get. But certain coils and different heat settings can delivery that hit without the nicotine (or so I've been told).

Flavor is key. It's one of the biggest reasons I grumble about bans. To use e-cigs to stop smoking, the secret is finding a flavor you absolutely love. Cigarettes will taste like absolute shite after that and it's easy to throw them out

JDoggad, My daughter just went through that. She had one that had to be surgically removed. My son gets them from time to time. He's lived through them. It mostly messes with his blood pressure and he feels really sick, then he passes it and he's okay. Hope you pass yours with ease.

Rave: I downloaded some mods for my zombie game. My goodness are they wonderful!! One of the mods I love though is glitchy as heck. I ran some 2 miles up a mountain to investigate a "Space Needle" type building. Once I got close, it disappeared. It came back as soon as I put distance between us again The other mod is extra tough. Absolutely everything will kill you They even added bandits (something the official developers have struggled with which is why they're not in the game yet).

Rants: I hurt. My knee and ankle ached early on during my walk the other night. Now both as slightly swollen but extremely sore. One of my wrists also hurt () I sometimes hold my hands in my sleep but I squeeze them hard (aren't we supposed to be paralyzed in our sleep? How can I squeeze anything ). When I do that, my hands hurt so much I can barely separate them. I don't know if the wrist pain is from that or something else. But it's weird. And annoying
I've also eaten way too much real food. I've been constipated for a week now
AND, I still have that rash on my shoulder... and it spread further out to where I had bandaids over it a few days ago (I've never broken out from bandaids before so what the heck?). But it does seem to be getting better. I've been putting Cortisone 10 on it regularly.

      Back to my game....

I found an early draft of an offical sceenplay for a sequel to "Finding Nemo." It is dated October 26, 2005. Apparently it is a complete story and it is a bit different to "Finding Dory." I'm sure I will have fun reading it! I am writing a synopsis as I read so I can share the story with those who don't want to read the screenplay. http://www.raindance.co.uk/site/pict...ing_nemo_2.pdf

Edit:I finished reading the screenplay and wrote a synopsis of it. It is like finding a secret story. It would probably be named "Finding Marlin" or something like that. I think the story is average at best, but it does include many more dolphins than "Finding Nemo" or "Finding Dory" which of course makes me happy.

According to wordcounter.net, the estimated reading time of this synopsis is 6 minutes and 29 seconds. (1785 words)
Spoiler for synopsis of "Finding Marlin":

What a cute story, Dolphin. The unedited version must've been awesome.

Rant: I am either joining the kidney stone club or I have one heck of a UTI or bladder/kidney infection. I've had some urethra discomfort for the past few weeks. It comes and goes. I just drank more water and didn't worry about it. I'm drinking nothing but milk and water, after all. Why would my kidney's be acting up?
      Yesterday I had pain.
Today I have significant pain. It's mostly in my pelvic region but now it's shooting to my right side, front and back. My urine output is almost nonexistent... but I also hadn't been drinking as much as previously.
GAH! So, today, I'm forcing the water down. I'm also going to google if tomato juice is a bad mix (I've been drinking that Tomato Bisque a lot lately).
I guess it's time for me to suck it up and clean my heating pad and take some pain meds.

Rant: I have buyers remorse for my tank. Sort of. After using it, I remembered another reason why I hate big mouthed drip tips. I inhale into my mouth and then into my lungs. With the drip tips, you pretty much have to lung hit. If I can walk, I have to go to the store later and also the vape shop where I'll buy a smaller to stick on it. Hopefully, that will work.

      **EDIT**
Bless my hubby and his hording ways. I called him to ask if I could snort tylenol to avoid stomach upset. I'm in so much pain (and tomatoes are bad for stones ) I cannot even think of eating something. He told me no Then I was lamenting I didn't have any pyridium. He asked how the real med is spelled. I looked it up, he looked in his med drawer and low and behold, he has my old prescription. It expired in 2005 I don't even care. If the med doesn't improve things, or I take a turn for the worse, I WILL be going to the Dr tomorrow. Serious-frigginly?
This feels significant. I've had, what I call, Kidney Sand off and on my entire adult life but nothing for the past several years.
What's worse, is my period is 2 days late, so is the pain on my right ovary nonsense or bladder/kidney pain?
Plus, I AM hungry. But I'm also severely nauseated.
Gah! What a start for the new year
Only thing bad about pyridium is the NASTY, nasty, nasty taste it leaves in your mouth. Time to dig out the tictacs

Rave: The heating pad is already helping.

I survived. Pyridium is a life saver. PLUS, it did not give me that nasty taste. Maybe because it was so old? It still worked, just not for as long. I still only took 2 doses. Those, plus lots of water and my heating pad seems to have settled things. I'm back to only minor urethra discomfort today. Because my pee was such a dark orange (the med), I couldn't tell if I passed any "sand". Maybe I was mostly just dehydrated?
I don't understand why I have such a low thirst drive. Even though vaping gives me such a dry mouth, I still don't get thirsty from it.

Rant: I'm also incredibly sleepy. I'm still sleeping like absolute shite, so that's part of it.
I can't play Gems of War for more than 10 minutes without falling asleep at my desk. Blah.

Rave: I'm loving the Starvation Mod for 7D2D. But egad!- there is SO much more content and such a higher difficulty. In a "vanilla" game, I can go the entire game without dying once. So far, in Starvation, I don't even make it past day one without dying 1-3 times
But even my zombie game is makingme fall asleep.

Meh: I'm supposed to go to the store tonight. I never did go out yesterday, but had my girls pick some stuff up (animal food). It all depends on hubby. Today was surgery day, so he'll come home wiped out. BUT, he's out of yogurt, so he might send me out. I hope not lol. I do not have the energy to put air in my tires then face the horde of people at the store.

      Hope everyone is well

Rave: I just survived my fourth near-death experience; inside a vehicle with four people with me included. We went into a snowy ditch, and a few inches closer to death away from a wooden pole, and magically swerved back into the road like nothing happened. Like “PLOP” or being teleported back to safety. I was going to reality check, but these days, I don't even really need to as much haha. A few days ago, I was experiencing a lot of dread after all these series of shortcomings coming full blast at me, but this, I dare say, a bloody miracle, is going to take a while to process.

I try to keep to myself for any experiences on near death or fatal injuries that were avoided because you can never know later on when you won’t have that luck next time, but wow. I’m still alive, and I get to dream another night. The world keeps on turning regardless. Stay safe, fellow dreamers.

Are you using the "Post Quick Reply", Link? If so, that's why you're getting doubles.
So glad you're okay! Stay safe

Rant: I had my first dry hit on my new tank last night. Wow, that hurt!

Rant: I'm awake. My daughter-in-law went to the ER this morning with kidney pain. She has stones She was too doped up to drive home and told them my daughter doesn't have her license lol (the hospital is, literally, about 5 minutes down the road). I had to go pick them up.
My daughter treated me to a Mc D's breakfast though, so that made up for it a little

Rant: Our kitchen sink froze last week. We lost our toilet for one day (no water running to it but still flushed if you manually added the water). It's going to get even colder next week, so I'm not very optimistic. I told everyone to do their laundry and clean the dishes etc while they can.

Rave: Other than extreme exhaustion, I'm feeling 95% better.

Rant: I have to take a shower and do laundry myself... but I cannot. I HAVE to go back to sleep...

There should be a script that automatically deletes double posts. Just don't edit either post and it should detect and delete it (otherwise if it's edited it can't detect that it's a duplicate). It runs every 15 seconds, so just wait a while and it should disappear.

Or, like Zhaylin said, using the Go Advanced button should cause it not to duplicate in the first place.

A lot of changes for the New Year for me.
I'm doing: No cigarettes and no porn. (Practically my two favourite things)
On top of that I'm drinking exclusively water, and only taking cold showers. Other than that, not much to report. I've still got another month here until I get to go back to Brisbane for university. The only thing I really have to pass the time is basketball and weight lifting. Even so, everything gets old after a while. But at the same time it's nice to immerse myself in getting better at ball and also working out. I'm excited to play proper competitive basketball games with my friends when I'm back at uni. Oh, and my Xbox One S broke recently. We had a storm and a power surge ruined the internal power supply of the console. Luckily it's still under warranty, but it'll be a few weeks until I get a new one mailed out to me, which will unfortunately contribute to my lack of things to do. Anyway, I hope everyone's doing well

Root canals suck. The worst part for me is that the local aesthetic they use is always really ineffective for some reason. I recall one time I explained the situation to the dentist and he told me he to inject me one at a time and then test it, before he gave me anymore. So he'd shoot me up, drill into my tooth, I'd exclaim in pain. The process repeated about 4 times until I finally had enough aesthetic. Other than that, no big deal. They are awfully expensive though, that's probably the worst part!

True, but after the pain fades, a while after the root canals are done, you become yourself again, and then you realize how much low-level pain you were constantly repressing. It really screws up your life until you get it taken care of.

Sorry I took so long to respond I haven't been around here in a little while. Christmas was fun, the family parties are always... interesting, but everyone was pretty good this year. Unfortunately I haven't been able to go to the gym for a few weeks, thanks to injury, going away and now a terrible cold that has somehow resulted in me getting 4+ nose bleeds a day. I had a lot of nose bleeds as a kid, and particularly with a cold, but i hadn't had any for around 6 months of so prior. I had a blood test yesterday just to check there isn't something really wrong with me, hopefully its just my nose being destroyed from the cold.
EDIT: I forgot to say where I study, it is RMIT

      Status: Single. Not looking.

Finally free of a miserable failing relationship. I wasted the last 1.5 years with a psychologically and emotionally abusive and manipulative <insert favorite expletive here>. I hung in there hoping that things would get better, but they just got worse. Tolerance, compassion, and hope can only go so far. Once it becomes detrimental to my own health, it's time to cut the wires.
