Oh you were definitely lucid then! Even though you didn't stay in the dream long enough to react or control things upon attaining awareness that it was a dream, you still managed to break through by realizing it was a dream. That's what lucidity is. Dream sustaining and control are just the next steps.

Also, when you guys gonna post IMAGES? I know Renfreak already did on page one, and SosPiro posted his, well.... goals..?

Oh! I didn't realize that. That's good to know, it gives me a little more motivation to get cracking.

I was all chill but kind of excited

Nowadays, I usually go like "Oh, ok, so this is a dream."
But I don't do anything about it. Just continue dreaming.
If it's a nightmare, I tend to be like "Oh wake up! Please wake up!"

Had a few experiences years ago that I'm not even sure were real lucids or just dreams of becoming lucid. But on each occasion, these are pretty much the phases I went through:

For the record I have had very few lucid dream experiences...
But of the first three I can remember two of which were basically:



"That can't be right, this isn't...wait.
!..I can fly?!"
