      Teen Link supplement -- is it safe?

      Hi guys, well aware that this is probably not the right place to post this but it was my best guess, so sorry hehe.

      I just bought
      Teen Stress Formula [url removed]
      and wanted to make sure it checked out, after my mom shared some horror stories on some non fda approved supplements lol.

      That page scared me. I would stay away.

      Anyway, why do you need that? I'm not sure that's the best way to cure stress...

      Really why is that?

      Also I just thought it might help me with focusing/stress/energy, as I'm trying to stay away from caffeine

      Don't treat the symptoms, treat the cause. Never treat the symptoms unless they are absolutely preventing you from treating the cause.

      Also, there has been little solid research into the effects of 5-HTP, although it seems to help increase serotonin levels. As for that later part, see above.

      It just looked like an untrustworthy website.

      I would just stay away from caffeine. You shouldn't need to replace it with anything.

      There is not caffeine in that tablet.

      Although, caffeine is never a good thing to resort to. I used to drink around 4-5 cans of Mountain Dew a day, and whenever I'd try to stop, I would get bad headaches (from withdrawal). I've been off Mountain Dew for about 3 weeks now I'm fine, but caffeine doesn't even affect me any more.

      Anyway, that's my sobriety story, but that's not what this topic is about.

      I've never heard of that site, and I would do some searches and check their track record. And like Supernova said, it's better to treat the cause and not the symptoms.

      Holy crap that looks like it's for people with chronic depression! Try more natural remedies. That's just way too much.
